Chant began roiling within Sigil, swarms of Primers began infesting the hive,Fleeing from the portal of their own world, taking up with the local gangs, making them grow in numbers, many other casualties and deaths being reported as well.

Some also report homes being taken up...an overcrowded population in the hive ward.

Sevdi takes to guiding people as best she can to other primes. She does this by requesting appropriate portal records from the Fated (and in paying their fees of course) and generally offers passage as able and possible. Otherwise she guides them to the likes of the Bleak Cabal.

If Odette was surprised for the 'leftover' throng of people that accompanied Sevdi's sudden arrival at Bleak Cabal Headquarters, it did not show on the freckled features of scarred visage beyond a melancholy smile for the woman herself. With compassionate sigh, the bleaker gets to work aiding whom she can - tending wounds, treating for shock and offering a quiet word of mercy for each that would pass before her. It was not the first time silver-haired femme had dealt with an overflow of refugees, nor would it be the last.

The Cabal, naturally, tries to accommodate everyone; but alas can only let in 50 sods each day, regardless of which wing they're directed to. Those that remain join the less fortunate outside, the line of those seeking admittance snaking down the Bedlam Run and back into the Hive as they each wait for their turn to enter. Most are looking for a hot meal and a bed for a few days before having to return to their slums, and they can usually find it in the Almshouse wing of the asylum.

Despite the overflow that mingled with the pre-established lines that trailed out through asylum's gates, each would find themselves brought a bowl of stew and a blanket when and where possible. The details surrounding the influx would have to wait, for now, the cycles to follow were bound to require the namer's attention until she could speak with Sevdi further.

(( Not actually involved in the event, just taking care of Gatehouse business as requested. Carry on! ))

Other members of the Cabal were fairly active in the helping, like the Factotum Kazuko "Ash" Yudeoshi who spent most of her days and nights trying to help the refugees, giving all she had to forget her melancholy and depression. As she explained them how bleak Sigil and the plane where, she also showed interest and asked questions on what happened.

Ajora would do her part to help ease the refugee crisis, purchasing food and drink for those in need as her resources allow ((EM can ask for jink IG if necessary)) and offering her limited skills as a healer to those that require.

She would also share the story of her Sect and, should any seem interested in serving the causes of Law and Good, would personally escort any prospective Lay-Brothers or Sisters up the slopes of Mercuria to the First Monastery of the Order of the Planes Militant in Solania for processing, training, and assignment. Those more interested in staying in Sigil, but still interested or inclined toward military service would be referred and escorted to the Barracks.

Morthos would send his bound succubus, Alea, to find out the general Chant that the Primers are spreading.

"Go find out what happened and when. I don't care if ye seduce a few bodies, but don't bring undue attention to thyself. You know what to do, Alea..."

The Cambion would also go around the Hive himself - accompanied by his enforcers, a Yugoloth and a Kelvezu - to seek out those who might actually know something keeper. He promises precious gems to those who have any pertinent Chant regarding the attack. Morthos also warns that feeding him flam or grail will have consequences!

As the influx of people into the Hive increases, the young Ranger Shila can't help but notice during her frequent trips across it on her way to Planeswalk.

Green eye fall upon the sick and injured crowding the streets and allies, welling up with concern. Unbidden by any faction or group, the young woman would begin to offer aid to those she could via her own healing skills, meager supplies, and minor spells.

If food is scarce the huntress would try to help what small groups she could, bringing back game animals or vegetables and fruits that she gathers from places like the Beastlands, making special trips if she has to.

All the while she will listen to and console those she can, not pressing but trying to learn why all these people are fleeing their home, all the while dreading she knows the answer.

"Moons, please no..." she would pray quietly to herself. "Please... Don't let it be starting again..."

Some might had imagined a particular elf telling a late night crowd about how the portal in the Hive opened to another world with Atropus descending and revelation of a second elder evil on the prime. Words tossed around about the Worm that Walks and how the lich involved with the first consumed world claimed now to be the Herald of Atropus.

Chants begins to arise of the hive ward being infested with worm infested zombies. A few harmonium warriors as well as mercy killers were defending the clerks ward but were attacked and killed. A few adventurers stopped the attack and proceeded to clean the hive of any lingering hostile undead.
