Sigil: City of Doors

A night of fighting and violence breaks out in undersigil as Doomguard patrols are ambushed by waiting Harmonium forces. The fighting is quick and bloody and to the surprise of some Harmonium troops the Doomguard seem better prepared for this than anticipated. Beneath the Lower Ward a group manages to cut through their captors and escape through a portal with the aid of a babbling mad man local to the tunnels.

Beneath the Clerks ward a squad of Doomguard immediately disengaged and wiped out their pursuers burying them in a tunnel collapsed with explosives.

Finally in Undersigil village The Harmonium and their allies encountered a force led by none other than the Cambion Ely Cromlich, although he fought a retreat and escaped.

The Doomguard did not reach the Bazaar, but it seems they were aware of the ambush, and given the readiness with which they retreated in a way to inflict as much damage on their pursers as they could perhaps the plan had changed.

For the mean time however the defenders of the law have done their job, the bazaar is defended and the Doomguard put to flight, it was a hard fought costly victory, but a victory none the less.

The Sinkers for their part have seen the might of the foe that faces them, many of the scouts they sent managed to escape and have returned to the Armoury. They are bloodied but by no means broken.

Notary Two, Nica participates on the memorial service of the lost members of the Harmonium during the skirmish. Though showing no shed of emotional input, it was a courtesy for the memory of those who fought and died for their duty. To the fallen she spoke a pre-meditated short poem, though she wasn't particularly poetic person.

Your deeds do us honor, once more, by Harmony made right.
Now enjoy the well earned peace, in your resting place, so lofty.[/align]

"We will meet again, when we have earned our place among you." she concluded her memorial speech. Her actions were not completely idealistic, rather it was her way to show support to complete dedication, and to inspire upon his fellow men and women, that their deeds won't be forgotten.

As the words are spoken there is utter silence just the crisp cold tones of Nica's voice, In uniform a phalanx of Harmonium stand in armour as red as the blood of their fallen comrades. By Nica's side a large Hobgblin barely fitting into a suit of Notary's armour turns his face away. He's crying. As she finishes outside they can hear the sounds of the Lady's ward, people going about their day to day business, such is the silence that falls over the barracks. It is then broken by a repeation of the words she uttered dozens of voices ringing out in unison, a final parting call to their fallen friends and comrades.
