Auditions

Despite her failing attempts to rent a couple of places, Neerepha finally managed to get one. Being friendly with that Gotthold at the Golden Bariaur paid her back for sure, but not more than the considerable tip she gave him. At least he proved to be convincing enough with the owner, prodding him to accept her request. And her money, of course.

Once everything was settle down, she visited the printer to have some flyers ready.

"Auditions, eh? Always happy to work for the Society of Sensation!" A middle-aged man flashed a wide grin at her, after having read the contents of the draft the Genasi prepared. It clearly stated she was looking for six men and two women, aged between twenty and sixty, to take part in a tragedy called "'Tis pity she's a whore". The play audition was going to be held at the Golden Bariaur on a certain day.

Neerepha rolled her eyes in exasperation and snorts, but she said nothing to retort. "I won't pay for any flyer your nephew will use to doodle, I warn you." she added, glaring at the printer and placing on the counter a few coins as deposit.

OOC:

I am looking for you for *real*! As said, characters are 6 men and 2 women. I don't know if we will reach the number for it (I understand 8 players are a lot), but I have already removed all the unnecessary scenes and characters from the original play (sorry, Sir Ford). You will be provided with a copy of the edited tragedy. I suggest to install Skywing's client if you don't have it, in order to copy and paste the lines and make everything smooth.
I can have Neerepha playing a male role just in case.
Any help from EMs/DMs will be gladly welcome.

Now, these are the rules:

- Your PC must have Perform.
- If your PC hasn't Perform but you want to join me anyway, you can create a new PC.
- I won't accept any PC pretending to have the skill, a roll will be required to show it.
- I won't decide to pick you because you can roll 60, I don't care how high your skill is, as long as you have spent at least 5 points in it. What I want is you actually *performing* the lines I give you. Which basically means you will add an emote to that. Being accurate and descriptive would for sure give you better chances to win a major role.

Notes: I haven't set any real day for the audition, because I have no idea which one would be the best for you (I think Saturday?). But if you can't be there, just PM me here or send me a tell in game and we will arrange another meeting (pretending it has took place on the same day).
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Sasha was excited when she saw the flyers. Auditions for a play? How fun! She made a note of the date.

She'd never heard of this play, though. Something to look up, for sure. . . she also made a note to catch Neerepha to ask the next time she saw her.

Minestra sees the fliers and squeels in delight. She takes it off the board in the lady's ward, rolls it up and stuffs it into her bag. Her next goal is to find Neerepha and get a part in her play

Tsorimir steps out of the mortuary and picks his way through the streets of the hive. A collector, a goblin, nods to him. He stops to behold the splendor of his well-made face in a puddle of brown rainwater. He tries to suppress the feeling of joy the beauty of his own face gives him, fails this time, and then the reflection of his smug grin on the surface of the puddle is covered by a flyer adrift on some gust of odd breeze. It settled there and began to soak up the liquid, and Tsorimir regarded it resentfully for a moment before smiling. Well if there is a suitable role, I might consider it... He stood awhile staring at the flyer before continuing down the cobbles.

Seeing the flyers around the Cage, Rhistel sighed slightly. Good thing she was carrying out that project of hers, despite being her usual disorganized self, yet...

He headed to the Hall of Records, and checked whether she had got any permit or license for advertising.
If she didn't, he took care of it himself, making sure all the paperworks were in order..
