The slim, tall figure approached the tables gracefully, without haste, yet with considerable speed for a humanoid. He was finely clothed, brocaded silk and purple velvet indicating taste and wealth. His auburn skin was framed by jet black hair, and a finely made sword, more an ornament than a killing instrument, was on his side. Without hesitation, he directed himself towards the beautiful, demon-like figure with haunting yellow eyes and red wings and hair. As he reached her, catching her attention, he bowed courteously:
"Greetings, Mir Fnrar. I am the envoy. I was told you have something for me."
Raising his head slightly, his blood-red eyes meet her golden gaze levelly, waiting politely for a reply
Of an Alhoon and his artifacts...

Mir quirks a brow momentarily, silent, her gaze looking into and through the red eyes before she breaks into a soft smile and nods.
- "So I do, so I do", she chuckles and draws a few times over around itself wrapped sheet of paper from her sleeve. She holds it for a while pointedly up like a small wand, "this for but one set of eyes, make sure none other lays their gaze upon what is written."
The words said, she hands the paper over to the man who is not just a man, but more.

The pale, well-mannered individual smiles with his bloodless, thin lips, as he graciously accepts the package
"Of course...I will bring it to him without delay. My thanks."
His words' echo not yet faded, he already has vanished in a cloud of gray smoke, seemingly entering a drain pipe on the side of the closest alley

Unseeing eyes scanned the parchment, taking in its information. The cloaked figure remained motionless for long instants, without a reaction. He could not feel anymore, after all...emotions were long dead, like his mortal body
"Summon my associates..." he commanded to the elegant, pale figure who delivered the message. "I have to confer with them".
"Yes, master" replied the vampire, as he bowed, then hurried with supernatural speed out of the building.

She watched him from the shadows, silently observing before making herself known.
She then stepped in the dim light, her face mostly covered by her hood still.
It seems you have been busy with the place... nice wards.
She grins slightly
Not that it will stop someone like me.
She chuckles and moves closer, running the tip of her dagger over the wall as she walks.
Tell me, why did you call for me. I was very close in aquiring a shiney trinket I had my eyes on. So it better be worth my time...

The dwarf puffed some smoke out of his pipe with a thoughtful look as he watched Denna crossing the room.
- You better don't mess with the wards, miss... even if you survived you would get the whole room ruined.
The woman smirked at him, clearly taking his advice lightly. He wondered how she managed to keep that absolute confidence while working with somebody like Vashtek. Zagran could actually see all the warding spells that were active in the place - or at least he hoped he could see all of them - and was pretty sure he would have not liked it if he were an unwanted visitor. So much security... yet so little. He sighed.

The black clad arcanist laughed his hollow laugh, a sound of broken glass dragged on a marble floor, a sound that had nothing human left in it "Ohh, but these precautions I took are not for you. The magic wards and the guardians I put in place are a deterrent for the unwelcome guests, nothing you need to concern yourself with..."
"I am glad you could make it, valued associates. As it would seem, we have a quite...delicate...situation, albeit a very interesting and potentially profitable one...Please, take a look at the letters in front of you." His empty eye-sockets shifting from one to the other as his skull slightly turns in the deep darkness inside his cowl "No doubt you remember the subject, Zagran..."
"Did any of you see Arvaal? He should have been here, by now..."

She smirks as she turns towards the dwarf
I do not mess with things... I simply dance with challenges, and make sure I win.
She crosses her arms over her chest and leans against the wall as she listens to what Vashtek has to say. She nods her head slowly before answering:
Arvaal? Last time I've seen him he didn't seem in a particularly good mood. Not that he isnt the sauer kraut normally... It seemed a bit worse this time as you send him out as your errantboy.

Of course he remembered the subject. A few days ago that crazy devil woman told them that she needed to acquire a certain item from the personal collection of an Alhoon - an illithid lich, no less - who dwelled in the plane of Nilfheim. An item with a quite interesting backstory...
If any other person had come at him with such a load of crap, he would have probably sent the poor barmy to the Gatehouse to get him thorougly checked, but when Mir Fnar was involved the unbelievable could become plain normal - just as easily as the normal could become a mess.
And here they were. The information Vashtek was pointing at was scarce, just the location of the Alhoon and a brief description of the item Mir wanted. Nothing that could give them leverage during an hypotetical negotiation. Nothing that could give them tactical advantage in case things got more... straightforward. Just a godsdammed address and a godsdammed description for retrieving an item that could change the course of planar history from the lair of a psychic-undead-archmagical-dried squid. He slowly exhaled a cloud of tobacco, and conveyed his feelings into a single curse.

Zagran shook his head while looking at his three "associates". He didn't like it when the liche got into a threatening mood, but there was no point in addressing the subject now. The matter at hands was too important to go and waste time over minor details.
- Apart from the obvious, no. Please go on.
