Sigil: City of Doors

Earlier this cycle a jinkskirt happened upon a body in the lower ward. Having seen all manner of things in her line of work, she thinks almost nothing of it, aside from being naked and missing a head there's nothing really out of the norm.

Several hours later, a member of the Dustmen finds the cadaver and seems quite pleased with the discovery, after all it's been awhile since he's had anyone to work on, though rather than drag it off for further study, he calls for a Harmonium officer to follow him into the Lower Ward to have a look over it. The officer in question, seems thoroughly displeased to have to be in such a place and before he's even had his doughnut! So rather than spend too terribly long looking over yet another body found in another one of the shadier parts of the Cage he simply looks it over, makes a note about the nakedness and the lack of anything above the neck and goes on his way, waving the Dustman off to go play with his new toy.

Late last cycle another body was found, though this time in the hive, leaning up against the Gatehouse. Several passersby noted that nothing seemed amiss... it is the hive after all and things like this happen.

Once again, the body was found without clothing or head, and the dustman from the previous find carted this one off again. In fact, the Dustman made a comment to one of the onlookers, with a rather toothy grin, "Ain nah poin botherin tha' Notry, he don alredy sed so".

There were no visible injuries on the body save for a bruise on the decedents right arm, though it's possible they'd incurred it while trying to keep their cranium intact, it's really anyone's guess what made the abrasion and no one seems that concerned about it.

Things have been quiet for at least a little while until once again a body is found. Once more, the body is found as the previous two, naked and beheaded, though this time it seems to be a woman. One with long hair, anyone might suppose as the assassin seemed to not get quite all of it out of the way before lopping off her head. Several missed strands litter the ground by her, leaving the jinkskirt to run for Notary Jenkins, and nearly dragging him back to the scene she says:

Ah knowed twas summon' afta us! Look at tha' hair! It's gotta be one oh me girls!

Notary Jenkins huffed a sigh and shakes his head, Ain't no ev'dence that it was one of yorn, calm yourself lass or I'll take ya in till ya do!

The poor jinkskirt storms off in a huff throwing several uncivil comments back at the Notary over her shoulder, and promising to find out who was killing her girls. Notary Jenkins takes a brief description, takes a sample of the blond tresses and sends for the Dustman who's taken care of all the rest before heading off to have his dinner in the Bazaar.

A female that associates herself as Ruby grows interested with the rumors related to the hive ward and gatehouse, as she saw one body headless in the streets before in the hive headless. one here and there is normal in the hive, however this seems odd to even her that this may be a problem in the ward she lives in. Its becoming a bit too close home and would pay for information related to this matter.
