Sigil: City of Doors

Chant spreads through the Bazaar and Cage. A Sinker and Incubus by the name of Zephon has a story for all to hear. And a sword for which he now seeks.

He speaks of an armor posessed, one that he now wears. It is driving him insane with constant whining. For within the armor, the Incubus says, lives an alleged spirit. One that constantly speaks of how it misses their ancesteral weapon. It claims to be an ancient warrior, known to legend as a 'Sword Saint'.

Zephon seeks the weapon, to find if it is any good. And if it disappoints him, shove it up the incorporeal rectum of his tormentor. He has promised to perform a great service, or reward with a price of wealth whomever brings it to him. The demon is known to frequent the Armory, the Temple of the Abyss, the Bazaar or any number of Sigil's Inns and Brothels.

New Chant spreads through the Cage. Tales told within the Armory of the Doomguard have begun to leak from its walls. For in Sigil, even the walls are doors. The Sword Zephon had sought for is found, and the spirit satisfied. All's well that ends well, you'd think.

However the tale is lined with a disturbing revelation. They say the spirit was coaxed out of the armor and slain with a weapon that cuts into it as easy as it does flesh. That uppon the spirit and its ancestors a curse most terrible now lies. That the fiend whom sought the ancesteral weapon has misshapen, battered and twisted it. The spirit was consumed, and now experiences every swing of its blade in torment, every blow on its armor in anguish. It is sure to go mad in cycles to come. It is whispered, that the spirit's broken voice can be heard whenever the fiend now speaks.

It is not known who helped the fiend achieve its goals, but scar it if they didn't see it comming.
