The next morning, Fox is at the Hall of Records. She digs up any information pertaining to the shiek she find, including any known associates and friends within the city. While there, also tries to see if they have any information about the palace he is staying in.

Rabbit goes to the Hall of Record sometime during midday. She researches through several books in search of distraction techniques, books on heists, and denizens on the plane of Air and within the city. She would also keep an eye out for beings native to the plane of air so that she can strike up a conversation and reel in some info. After all that, Rabbit made sure her weapons and instruments for distractions are ready to go.

After getting up from bed, spent and slighty under the influence of Agony, Minx drags her way into the halls of records in search of any one connected to the shiek of the plane of air, any dirt would help her get to know a bit more about this shiek, what are his taste, his habits, a crack in the wall she can chip away slowly.

All three conspirators find numerous passing references to both the freehold of Baha and its ruler, Shiekh Zafer, in the Hall of Records.

"...of sale contained herein for the appropriation of 2 male and 3 female elephants from the Prime of Toril, and a mated pair of Athas lions. The aforementioned sold to Shiekh Zafer XXXVII of the Freehold of Baha..."

"...Namer Dunbar was commissioned to perform at Shiekh Zafer's latest magical festival/spectacle extraordinaire. The Shiekh looked favorably on his illusionary displays, and gifted him with an emerald of approximately 5,000 jinks value..."

"...that year Shiekh Zafer contributed half his garrison, some twenty djinn soldiers, thirty jann, and 50 mortal auxiliaries, mostly of the auran genasi persuasion, to retaliate against a local efreet raid."

"...two hundred pounds of flower seed purchased for the renovation of the Shiekh's gardens in Baha. I am told His Eminence is a great connoisseur of orchids."

There are also countless architectural drawings claiming to be blueprints of Shiekh Zafer's palace, but each one is revealed to be different than the last.

Lynx spends the remainder of the cycle making certain his gear is in order. Grappling hook, wands charged, thieves' tools cleaned, spell components sorted, and so on. After dropping a line to some of his trusted contacts, he rests and begins his research early the next cycle.

The shifty tiefling dons the alias "Valentine," sporting a scarlet set of wizard's apparel, and a wide brimmed, low fitting hat to shade and obscure his face. His first stop is a charter house of the Planeswalker's Guild to inquire about portals to the plane of air and the corresponding keys. He also collects any knowledge he can about portals leading out of the plane that would be accessible. Interspersed are fluff questions about a handful of other destinations, merely to serve as a bit of misdirection. A small precaution.

The Planeswalker's Guild would furnish Valentine with ample information regarding the Plane of Air and its portals. He'd learn that many portals to the Plane of Air can be found in the Upper Planes, typically high in the sky (as one might expect), but some are more accessible to the land-bound.

One can be found in Mercuria, at the top of a slope not too far from its portal to Sigil. This is the most well-known, and even leads directly to Baha. The key is a small sapphire amulet, much like those the local jeweler peddles on a daily basis. ((This portal and the location exist IG should you wish to do some scouting RP IG of your own initiative))

A second, more inhospitable portal is known to exist in the Paraelemental Plane of Ice, at the peak of the icy mountain which towers above the Frost Giant lair near the Sigilian portal. This portal opens out in the Plane of Air outside of Baha proper (while the former opens in the middle of the freehold). The key, simply enough, is a shard of ice at least 1 foot long.

After finding the information, finding leaves a letter at the B&J for others
