*Lance had been missing in the days since he had learned of the death of Odette Vieuxpont. He had viewed the body in privacy before walking out of the Taigh de Cath in haste, yet nobody seemed to know where he had gone afterward. Not a soul.

Just as mysteriously, he returned to the Taigh de Cath late in the cycle while things were relatively quiet. Finding Kelth's blade lodged into the floor, he drew Grievous Blow from its scabbard and drove it into the floorboard beside. Sleepless and alone, he collapsed into a seat and waited until someone noticed his presence.*

Having been present for the incident and having seen need to help handle matters, the elf had been rather tacit in his comings in goings. Any inquiries during that time and up to the meeting, he been gather materials and in particular a large mirror, antiqued with age and lacking polish he set in a corner.

Once he heard the bark of the master of the house though, he did pause, painstaking calm painted on his features, dropping what he was doing. He turned to join his kin at the table, shoving his hands in pockets. He found his usual seat, forcing all other thoughts to still and turn his focus upon the warrior.

*The warrior reached to his right to clasp the unpirate's left shoulder, he squeezed it gently, briefly.*

*The warrior inclined his head at Argent*

"Word reached me 'bout how ye ran things, my grattitude will not be 'xplained by mere words, my kinsman. Know, it is stored t' heart..."

*The warrior spoke calmly, but with undeniable broken voice*

"We'll wait for th' rest o' our kin. We will r'store her soul, but I'll need all o' ye in this endeavor. "

The letter from the Tiagh lay on Dace's private study on board the Siren's Song, untouched and unopened. The warlock didn't need to read it, he'd already heard the news.

There was, for a brief moment, a feeling of guilt. He'd decided months ago that he wouldn't get involved in this Mimir Killer case, choosing other matters to attend to even after some of his friends had been targeted. Maybe if he'd took on just this little more...

The warlock shook his head. Each time a familiar face passed on, he'd go in circles wondering about maybes and how things could be different, yet it hardly mattered after a point. Now, the only thing to be done was to act like condolences would somehow make things better for the Rashemi warrior back in the Tiagh. Condolences for the living, and flowers for the departed-

He blinked, and cast his eyes down to the stone rose on the table.

... flowers for the departed...

A frown creased his features. The rose was meant for something else entirely, something that- if not dealt with- could potentially kill others. A weapon, to do his job.

And if she was right about it blowing up the entire block....

He sighed, then reached over for the stone rose as he stood.

Well... you did let it happen. May as well try to fix it....

Tucking the rose into his coat pocket and concealing his faction badge, he went bellow deck to find Sasha, asking if she'd come along before venturing to the Tiagh.

Walking under the concealment of an invisibility invocation, the duo made their way to the long house, avoiding the wards perpetually unstable locals till they were inside. This once, the warlock dispelled the elderitch concealment. As his eyes found the Rashimi, he offered a solem, silent nod.

She says nothing, but moves to a chair, as though silently asking permission to sit.
*The warrior inclined his head, meaning permission was most certainly granted*

* Dace and Sasha were greeted by a solemn nod in return. The warrior's calmth appeared almost regal, perhaps shaped by these events, or a mask to hide behind as to be able to function and deal with everything.

The warrior gestured for them to be seated. *

"I am aware not all of us are here yet, but given th' circumstances, you will forgive my moving on."

"I nae need to inform you all of wha' has come to pass."

*The warrior paused, glancing at Odette, before his gaze returned upon all those present, roaming over each and every single one of them*

"I know ye all deal with yer own sorrow about this loss in yer own ways. But I need ask of ye all to join me in a final effort to bring her back among us"

"I have here, a map, where another shard is located. She was doin' research about it. This weaver who has her soul, resides on a certain prime. I am aware we could storm it's residence, but if it escapes our grasp, we are empty handed for c'rtain and have nae hope tae bring her back. So we will play nicely in this. She made a bargain with th' cretin an' we will honor it.

I ask two volunteers tae guard th' Taigh. All other matters in Sigil can burn. We will bring her back.

She is th' one I love th' most in this verse...we are Blades, or Allies, for both goes th' same.

Duine rach á cuimhne . Nobody is left b'hind or forgotten..."

*The warrior paused, watching wether or not people would raise there hands at the request of guard duty*

Dace listens to the warrior's words, waiting a moment before looking up.

"Kelth...there is another way."

* The warrior's eerie gaze rested onto Dace's countenance*

"Pray tell, brother...what is this way ye speak of?"

Dace considers the option a moment before speaking again.

"I ...may be able to bring her back right here and now." He gives it a moment more. "Body and soul.

Understand, I say may. And if it does work this ..creature... will no doubt bring the hells with it." He looked over to Odettes body. "But she will be here, whole again."

He considers a moment more before taking the rose out for Kelth to see.

*The warrior furrowed his brows, regarding the rose*

"I...think ye will need tae explain this, lad."

"How will this rose do as ye claim?"
