Preparations

A masked vampire man makes his way to the Hall of Records and begins to take a look through the various books, finding as many as he can on the plane of earth and its denizens. A massive challenge was ahead of him to be sure, after be deemed an arena champion after a contest of steel.

"An elemental prince... This won't be easy at all." He mutters to himself, beginning to page through the books, hoping to find all the information he can on such a matter. Perhaps someone might find Lazarus busy with his nose in books if they were to wander through the hall.

OOC note: If anyone would like to interact with this thread I would be grateful. I am looking for some advice on how to handle the next challenge from Maximilian Vindeer. It's all speculation, other than that it's an earth elemental. Much thanks and greatly appreciated to all who have something to say on the matter. You could either post OOC and I will have Lazarus have it read as a factoid within the books or post IC. Alternatively you can PM me.

Maximillion Vindeer! The name echoed up and down the clerks ward almost as soon as the planar sphere had been spotted within (relative) distance to Sigil. The crowds flocked to the gymnasium by the dozens as the legendary planar game show host and his baatezu retinue took over the arena and began to issue the call for combat capable planeswalkers.

The baatezu host has appeared in Sigil twice before this time, both times hosting a contest aimed at pitting planeswalker knowledge against one another for a prize at the end for the victor. This time however the contest is far from cerebral and soon the sounds of mighty combat broke out from with the arenas walls as many interested planeswalkers faced off against each other.

In the end, three powerful champions stood victorious in their auditions and stood before the devilish host as he explained the next part of the contest. Each champion, in one weeks time is to be pitted against a powerful foe that the devil and his crew have captured from the deepest most darkest and dangerous places across the multiverse.

One of the champions is rumored to be set to face an powerful prince from the elemental plane of earth.

Another is scheduled to face a very angry red dragon who is beyond furious at being subject to an imprisonment spell for seven hundred years.

And the third, is destined to fight a powerful erinyes warrior, a devil said to have been gifted with the power of hellfire by the lord of the ninth level himself.

Three daunting challenge, three powerful foes from across the multiverse and three champions to face them.

All for glory, honor and a name that will be whispered with respect.

And a gold prize too doesn't hurt.

In one weeks time...

It seems there has been a twist in the turn of events. Maximillion Vindeer would make an appearance at the Bazaar this cycle, to inform Lazarus (and the other champions who were either not present in body or mind) That the next challenge would take place on the Plane of Endurance.

Apparently some sort of accident took place with the original plans... The prince threw a tantrum, then the Hellfire Eryines broke out of her cage causing enough havoc to let the Dragon loose... dangerous business it seems.

If the other champions wish to know more of the plans, Lazarus was told by Max to inform them of the changes in programme.

Lazarus has managed to seek out the other two contestants and informed them of the changes in events for the upcoming challenge. He seeks to gather with the two others and to formulate a plan to conquer the upcoming gauntlet of potentially dangerous, numerous and unknown creatures which they are to face in another week's time.

//Im sorry guys, its just that the captain of my paramedic unit called and sweet talked me into baby sitting a local fire station that was short on hands and i just couldnt say no, especially as im one of the few members of my unit that is cross trained, im home now but im exausted, was a busy freaking 5 hours, i appologise again, we will find a time soon to make up for it.
