The sudden cases of melancholy and malaise taking to various districts in the cage continue. By now the cumulative effects of these periods of depressed activity and uptick's in suicides for the weaker-willed would have registered with the Higher-ups in the city's factions. Notable setbacks in activities requiring productive agents to further several faction agenda's should be evident ((especially for the Godsmen, Sinkers, Hardheads (in commonly affected districts), and merchants in the bazaar)).

Finally the apathy stopped, this time it seemed for good.
The involved parties are able to recover from their ordeal, some of them aware of all the happenings, barely comforted by the notion they had managed to fix the worrying situation, some other blissfully ignorant about what had been going on the whole time... but in the end, it was the result that mattered.
The now recovered body of the first suicide victim, although now in advanced state of decomposition and barely recognisable, is buried someplace off plane in manner according to her beliefs in life.
The dagger, now nothing more than a worthless blade, just a memento to look at and remember everything that happened.
Maybe now both dead and living could finally sleep peacefully again.
