Morthos Ashcroft would have filed paperwork with the local Harmonium office in an attempt to claim ownership of a profaned knife (Specifically a Vile Dagger, though he does not know what it actually is- Only that his eye can't be healed except by direct divine intervention such as a Miracle Spell according to the priest who oversaw his initial diagnosis and treatment) that a childhood rival used to cut his right eye from it's socket roughly 4 days ago.
His reasoning is that since the blade was last used in an attempt to torture and dismember him, he should have claim to it, and a right to sell it, as compensation. He admits that when the poison preventing him from moving or manifesting wore off, he turned his tormentor into ashes, leaving not even bones behind, claiming that the childhood rival intended to kill him with it after he was finished inflicting torture upon him.
He also mentions that Junathoraxus suggested this course of action.
He offers the testimony of the priest who attempted to treat his missing eye as proof (Since this is explaining partially why he wasn't being played recently, assume NPC unless a player volunteers), as well as a Metabiolist Psion (Player, can't remember name offhand) who attempted to treat the wound as well.
