With a loud pop Sondaal disappears from Under Sigil after the amulet was placed on her forcing the Aasimar to immediately follow the Mephit's orders, she reappears in the City Of Brass at an Auction House where shackles are placed on her and the amulet removed. She looks around as beads of sweat pop out on her skin from the heat.

She is led to a bath house with the other slaves and ordered to step into the water. Sondaal does this quite willingly, anything to escape the heat, with a look around the bath house at the other slaves the scarred and muscular Aasimar sighs before watching the guards look through her gear. "I suppose i'm gonna need ta get Kelth ta make me new gear if I ever get out o' here" She mutters to herself while washing her hair.

She steps out of the bath looking around for a towel before one of the guards approaches her and strokes her bare breast, Sondaal stiffens immediately with a slow turn around and a rage-filled expression on her face, She hisses at the guard. "Get yer bleedin' hands off o' me or I'm gonna break 'em." The guard glares at her reaching for his whip, with a quick snap of the leather Sondaal grimaces biting her lip as it breaks the skin of her front before she turns around accepting the lashes on her back, stifled cries coming from her lips, and blood flowing down her skin in rivulets.

With her wounds healed by a Cleric, no trace of the lashes remaining on her skin but still feeling and hearing the sting and whistle of the worked leather in her mind, she steps out onto the platform looking out over the crowd while she is dressed in skimpy clothes. The attendants to the auction whistle as they look at her translucent shirt and short tight pants.

The bids to the auction start as she wonders which of these people is going to win her into his Harem.

//Aaaaand Hijack!.

Granite stomped through undersigil shortly after Sondaal offered herself as payment to the mephit guarding a portal...a portal that led to a cure for the woman he now held in his arms as he and several others made their way back to the Foul Spirit Inn. He carried the woman in his arms like she were a ceramic doll, afraid that even the lightest bump or chip would shatter the frail woman.

He deposited the woman in her bed shortly after, and after she was washed, dried and tended too and the others said their good nights, Granite sat there crying for a long moment, happy beyond belief the woman of his love was safe but at the same time gripped by woe and despair at the high price that made it possible.

He sat in the hall talking to the others of the rescue party, wipeing tears from his eyes after hurling his plate mailed gauntlets down the inns hall.

"We're going to get Sondaal back we have to....I'm glad to have Ixia back everyone knows she means the world to me but.....fokin its not fair one persons life is not worth another!". he exclaimed to the others.

"I dont know much about the city of brass but if Sondaal was worth enough for seven of us to travel to and from our destination that means its going to cost just as much to get her back or even more and we....we...we have to find away" he choked out a sob.

As he settled into a patrol shortly after, having an extreme lack of sleep covered in dry sweat and worried about how to get Ixia back in shape, his promise to lady Larkspur echo's over and over in his mind, "We will get her back darling...i promise we will get her back".

Ixia was too disoriented at first, following her rather painful healing, to really register what had happened. She hadn't even been aware that she was actually healed for many moments after regaining consciousness in the arms of a certain armored earth genasi. Several times her companions had told her that Sondaal was gone. Sondaal was gone. Sondaal's gone, we have to get her. And yet she kept asking for the aasimar.

The young redhead hadn't even been conscious for most of the journey to the City of Brass. The sickly girl had passed out sometime while they were wandering Under Sigil, being hauled around on Sondaal's back. She couldn't remember anything. Not the boss fire mephit demanding a slave in return for their use of the portal. Not the fire elemental priest laying its hands on her, burning her clothes from her body. She did not remember the actual healing. But she did remember burning. The awful, searing pain that bubbled and sizzled through her blood and every bone, muscle, and tendon of her body. The agony that caused her to convulse and scream herself hoarse as the sickness was pulled from her. And the darkness that ensued when she couldn't take any more.

That was all she could remember. So why was Sondaal gone?

She's gone.

We have to get her back.

She's gone, because of me?

But don't worry about it for now.

How can I not?

You have to get better, first.

She did it... for me?

They promised her they were planning their next steps, as they were laying her into bed. Bathing her. Getting her comfortable. They promised her they would get Sondaal back. Each and every one of them promised. And Dom, gods bless him, promised she would have a part in the rescue.

They shouldn't have let her do it... Why did they let her do it?

They promised.

Ixia only hoped that time would not make them liars.

Kalina Brice swirled the contents of the glass in her hand. It was barely afternoon, and she was already drinking. The past few days had not been kind to the young woman, and drowning her sorrows with liquor seemed as good a plan as any.

Voices murmured nearby, but she paid them little attention. She didn't even focus on her own complicated, tangled affairs. She had to find a way to save the woman whom she considered her best friend in all of Sigil, and she had to find a way to do it as soon as possible.

She would go to her father, the merchant Jach Sensbane, and explain the situation to him. She had visited the villa earlier, but the merry man was nowhere to be found. Jink would be involved, and so would cunning - two things her father possessed in abundance. It would take something very valuable to regain a female human - no, Kalina dully corrected herself, Aasimar - harem slave.

Kalina's hazel eyes fluttered closed as abrupt, horrific visions of what might be happening to her friend raced through her thoughts. She and her companions had to talk to Khazeet as soon as possible; they had to get back to the City of Brass so they could save Sondaal.

The young woman muttered a curse beneath her breath and then downed the rest of her drink in one swift gulp. She couldn't waste any more time - she had work to do.
