When that person has no desire to overcome the strife?
What good is it to offer a helping hand?
When they refused to take it and be pulled from the sand?
Meaningless it is to let it trouble your mind
So cast off the shackles and be free of the bind.
Let them run on without you in vanity
As you remain behind and help those that accept your generosity.
In time alone might the fools realize they have sinned?
But never waste your time to follow them, for it is like chasing the wind.
