City Courtroom Information

• No armors within the Courtroom. (everyone will be inspected on entrance, one should wear casual clothing [appearance changed fullplates are fullplates])
• No chivs within the Courtroom. (everyone will be inspected on entrance)
• Accused (Kelth) is going to be having hands and legs shackled during the court.
• Spells may only be cast by neutral Judge approved spellslingers.
• Only witnesses and evidences registered before the trial begins will be taken on count.
• Witnesses during the trial are kept in separate rooms outside the courtroom, they can't hear the others or converse with others during it is going. (so hopefully they were bribed before the trials!)
• This is open trial, cutters and bashers are allowed to come watch.
• Order will be kept by neutral Court decided guards.
• Judge will make the trial go on and stop derailing.
• Objections will not be heard, but look at the above point. (Because in forum story writing everyone writes multiple paragraphs and they can't really be stopped in middle of it, unless breaking time and space continuum)
• Hear-say or unreliable evidences can be used, but will not affect much to decision of Judge.

City Court Proceedings

1. Everyone are taken to their places.
2. Judge comes in, everyone rises (I'll make basic assumption everyone does to save time from waiting everyone to post it)
3. Charges are read, judge will open the trials officially with slam of his hammer.
4. Opening speeches: First goes defendant that can make opening speech to introduce himself- the point of view of this case, after this the prosecution does the same (introduce the victim and then talk of the case), prosecution as right to do this later on also right before they call their witnesses.
5. Prosecutions Witnesses: Now are called Prosecutions witnesses one by one, the Prosecution will question them first, after which defendant questions them. Evidences may be brought in middle of the witness questionings.
6. Defendants Witnesses: First are called Defendants witnesses one by one, the Defendant will question them first after which prosecution questions them. Evidences may be brought in middle of the witness questionings.
7. Judges decision: Based on the trials on going the Judge will make his decision.

((The court itself will start at Sunday 20th of December, it will be forum only, but RP may continue in game as well... it might last a few days to get through it as well.))

* Kelth wanders into the courtroom, his usual clothing, claymore left at the guards, nothing but said stones and parchments in hands...growling softly at the shackles, gritting his teeth at the robbing of freedom*


*walking to the front, he inclines his head respectfully at all present...rising from his seat as the judge walks in*

*he stands there, proud, firm, his eyes filled with confidence....his long black manes adorned with various bells...as are the laces of his boots....his walk to the front of the room surely was something to be noticed, despite being shackled....towering over most of the guards with his height....surely a sight guvners are not used to see that often, he bows respectfully as the judge moves to his seat*

*Kelth had sent letters to Naya'Il, Sondaal, Ixia, Jach and Dom, explaining he was to face court soon....he had confessed to Scairt after hearing the harmonium offering a bounty on the one responsible for the blast and figuring out the small, crazed halfling was trying to put the blame on Kelth.....

with nothing but some documents and three sensory stones, Kelth made ready for court....he explained in his letter, he was taking full responsibility for this and would defend himself in court......*

*Naya'il had entered the courtroom sometime before, wearing simple tunic, her weapons and armour reluctantly handed over to the Harmonium guard. She'd taken the nearest public seat to the accused's stand as she could, stoicly aiming to show her support of Kelth as he walked in by her presence and aura*

*her own bow to the judge ahd been curt but respectful*

*Piri flits into the room a little later, catches up to Naya, plonks herself upon her shoulder, fingers tangling anxiously with the celestial girl's long golden locks, her cheeky expression oddly missing*

"They aint gonna take the big guy away Naya...are they?"* she said in worried tones* "He stopped that nasty masked man...that aint no justice....after all the good he's done...." *her voice a light squeak now*

"I don't know Piri sweetheart...not if there is any goodness left in this city...surely not."

Sondaal shows up in the courtroom after handing over her weapon. She looks around to see who's there before moving to sit with Naya'il. Her hair has started to grow back after the explosion where she lost it in the fire.

Salaria lets out a sigh of relief, and when someone next to her notices , she composes herself back to her icy glare ,rolls her eyes and stands from her seat. Before leaving she turns to look to Kelth, Naya and Piri in thier group hug, grins slightly at them, glares back at the guy next to her still staring at her then leaves the court room quickly.

Elrik slips in to the courtroom, quietly, and wearing a drab brown-grey jacket, after being held up for some time at the door. There's now a small basket with the other weapons that reads "These be Elrik's Chivs, dinna touch if ye know what's good fer ye," in a rather hasty scrawl, in addition to a far more official-looking note detailing the contents of the basket, namely several daggers of varying shapes and sizes, a few handaxes, and what appears to be a few miniature ice picks, along with some rather suspicious darts in a small case.

Ashrell Vect, with this being one of the rare occasions he's not wearing a chainshirt underneath his robes, almost seems to glide into the courtroom. A slight scowl on his face as the swords made from his sire's bones no longer grace his hips. The unspoken promise to make new weaponry out of the attendant if he so much as loses the blades, fresh on his mind.
Silently he stalks between the corridors of seats until he sits himself next to Sondaal almost instantaneously slipping his hand into hers. "Not the way I planned to spend your birthday, love", then allows himself to bend towards her and kisses her slowly on the lips. "But for what it's worth, happy birthday nonetheless", as he gently squeezes her hand before he sinks back into his seat.

Sondaal smiles over at Ash briefly returning the kiss as she looks at her lover whispering the words so she doesnt interrupt the proceedings of the trial. "I know hun but i couldnt skip this for a birthday, this is considerably more important."

Scairt walks into the courtroom watching and hope this ain't going to be a mess and hope that it ain't going to be a riot...
