A woman leaves the prison and goes to The Lower Ward. She heads to one of the inns where she is most likely to find Baatezu and their followers. In perfect Infernal she asks about The Blood War.

Her inquiry leads her to a inn at a back ally in the lower ward. There is a thick sickly green smog in the narrow street. A black forboding structure towers into the none-existant sigilan sky. Like hewn out of a dark obisidan berg the walls are semi transparant to the surface but beneath is a impenetrable darkness. The architechture resembles a black glassy square with a perfectly straight surface. frozen inside one of the blocks making up the building stands the blackened skeleton of Balor seemingly screaming in anger. There is a plate next to it written in infernal reading : The whingeing Balor's Inn. There seem to be no door into the building at least not a obvoius one.

There is four gaurds standing at the exact same distance from each other. Black thick plates cover them completly. Many of the massive bolts dripping blood suggesting the armourment has been fasten directly to their bodies. Carrying long Spears that they hold stoically and flawlessly straight with their points up. Without turning his head to address her the nearest guardsman speaks in a emotionless hollow voice. "State your buisness here. Entry will be granted or denied pending on your answer."

"I come from Rigus. From the prison and the red death too."

The woman opens her hands in a shrug. A globe of ice appears above one.

"Few have the courage to stand against it."

She flings the ball of ice at the burnt skeleton.

"I am here to find them."

The ball of ice shatters at the hard black surface leaving a trail of water trickling down. Unflincing the guard answers her in the same steadfast tone.

"You will find none of the Tanar'ri scum inside this building be assured. If you are aligned with their kind it would be wise of you to remove yourself this is a Baatezu residence. Unless you seek to drag one of their numbers to the prison cells?"

"You're an idiot."

Switches to common.

"Perhaps now you will understand. I'll speak slowly for you. I am looking for Baatezu who have seen action in the blood war. Get out of my way and let me in, or go and find whoever is in charge and explain to them you have just earned them the attention of the red death."

Stoic the armoured guard replies without the slightest hint of being deterred.

"Idle threats won't avail you. We are well versed in the laws of Sigil. We are under no legal obligation to allow you entry. Under the laws of trespassing private property we have the right to stop you. As for your search the four of us have all served in the Blood War."

She walks away and without moving her hands cast a quickened spell a dimension door. She moves a safe distance away from the group of four guards. Then she casts an empowered Stygian icestorm on the group of them.

Simultaneously they lowered the spears pointed at her falling into fighting position. The two center guards advance on her standing nearly shoulder to shoulder. The two guards on the flanks further their distance from the two at the middle rushing forward. Their swift movements in unison suggested they was well trained and had drilled countless of days together. Hit by large chucks of ice and hail their advance was hampered and she could probably out run them or cast another spell at them before they could reach her in melee.

Yawning, one basher walked through the narrow alleys of the Lower Ward, occasionally cursing under breath. In thick smog, the gaunt humanoid looked like trouble to usual cutthroats or bashers aiming for easy prey.

Visit to Foundry was fruitless this time. It felt like she could try luck at raiding the Dirt Plane, but a sore shoulder from smacking ingots in shape gave a warning to Styx it.

Taking another shortcut, Raila felt a cold gust from one side, ears catching a clang of iron.

*Another portal got opened?*

It was something one needed to check out if one wanted to get ahead in Cage, so basher moved in the direction of the sounds.

Approaching the inn of Baatezu, tiefling groaned, finding some cager fighting the devils. Not just any devils.

The equipment and build, formation and tactics spoke of one particular kind.

Legion devils.

Four of them moved in on the woman, who looked suspiciously familiar. Whoever she was, she is probably really strong or quite a cony to fight four of the infernal army soldiers.

There was a dillemma. To enter the fray without warning or continue to watch and see how it plays out...

Just in case, Cipher lowered warding hood over the burning violet eyes and gripped the sword on her back immense heavy blade feeling warm to the touch in proximity of it's fated enemy so close...

She cast a second dimension door. This time to the roof of the building they guarded. She then rained a second storm down upon them waiting for the maddening Styx ice to warp their minds.
