Reports have surfaced that an ectoplasmic abberation taking the form of a senile, torch-bearing old man now haunts the fabled catacombs of the realm below.
Eyewitness accounts from multiple sources including Aki the Pack Rat, assert that the creature first offers to help travelers find their way, then offers them baked goods..(Fortunately, Aki was able to flee the scene unscathed). Still, another report by the Vkarrith the Butcherer of Goblins (one who barely survived an encounter with said abberation) describes a barmy old man who fiercly protects lost goblin children, and flicks around a tablespoon of great power. One that seemingly shoots forth very, very potent magicks. Vkarrith managed to make it out alive, though not without third degree burns marring much of his upper body..
Just in case anyone needed another reminder: exercise caution when exploring the realm below! It appears that the list of terrors which reside below keeps growing.

Christopher Cryptbane slides his bone white helm back on his face after his private prayers in his room. The dead are ever present within Sigil, he knew this when he was sent to the great ring, and he knew he had to handle his duty with a certain amount of flexibility. The undead explosions had stopped for now and for that he was grateful though he has yet to locate the necromancer responsable, but this spirit needs to be dealt with as well.
The first tick of the next hour see's a man radianting brilliant magics descending to the lair of this supposed ghost, his skull tower shield in one hand and his hand and a half in the other glowing with twin spirals of holy and divine magics. The undead hunter shuts the grate behind him and calls upon his sacred link to kelemvor who is the judge of the dead and as he proceeds deeper into the under filth his body begins to emit a sickly green glow and his eyes flash momentarily as he calls forth his vison magics that reveal all who are undead.
There was work to be done.
