It had been been a month since fire ravaged the once opulent manor home located in the Lady's Ward, and although most of the rubble had been cleared, the vacant lot sits unused. The lavish home of Lord Jach Sensbane was bequeathed to his daughter, Kalina, and the young noblewoman had barely done anything except order the debris removed and the salvageable items - what few remained - placed into storage.
She had no intention of rebuilding the villa, but Room Ten - the room she shares with her beloved Dom - transformed into the central hub of House Sensbane. Hardly a day passes when Ten is not occupied by herself, Dom, Animus, Rozalin, Gwynnithe, or Azrinoth. Ixia and Sondaal make frequent appearances, and other people come and go as well. After a particular evening in which Ten was completely full of people and there weren't enough chairs to seat all of them, the acting head of the House knew it was time for a change.
She had been avoiding the ruins of the villa ever since her father died, but she knew that he would want her to rebuild and thrive again. The jink he had set aside as her inheritance was more than enough to purchase the finest materials in the multiverse, and she wanted to continue the legacy of quality he had instilled in her. Still, it would take time to make the negotiations and hire the people needed to facilitate her goal of a bigger, better villa.
How would she get started? She remembered that the genasi, Granite Stonejaw, had mentioned an interest in helping, so her first step was to consult him. Her next step was to spread the chant that House Sensbane is looking for capable builders and people interested in work.
The goal was lofty, but Lady Sensbane was determined that House Sensbane would have an actual house to its name once again.

Animus Sensbane sits alone in the Hall of Records, a stack of books piled on the table before him. Having been born a bastard and only made a noble through adoption, he knew little to nothing about the responsibilities and temptations about such a status. Truth be told, he never thought he would have to, either. Kalina had been the one handling all the responsibilities while he and Gwynnithe merely supported Kalina in her endeavors. That time was now over.
A despair had come over Kalina and it seems she and Dom returned to traveling together, canceling the construction of the new villa. Gwynnithe had told Animus Kalina just wanted to fade from memory. Perhaps Animus should have left things go at that; however, a change had come to the Aasimar as he continued to grow within this family. The desire to cherish and preserve the name of his father grew stronger in his heart. Already, he had managed to cancel Kalina's order to abandon the construction of the villa. Though confused, the workers were glad to return and finish what they started. How his sister would react upon her return, he knew not, but he wasn't ready to quit. He had no desire to become "Lord Sensbane," though.
Instead, Animus hoped that the responsibilities could be shared by the entire family and not rest on the shoulders of just one. So here he is now, trying to learn from the mistakes and successes of other noble houses so that he could properly handle things until Kalina returned. Together, the two could share the responsibilities with Gwynnithe... though teaching Gwynnithe might prove to be difficult. He was also studying up on the merkhants and their ways. With the disappearance of Neli la Meor, he had learned that the Sensbane family, as a whole, was now the owners of his father's corporation. The power of the Sensbane family had increased dramatically and he needed to be prepared to handle such power. And so Animus continues his research, trying to learn in a short time what many learn over the course of several years.

Granite Stonejaw has been missing for close to a month to date with no one seeming to know where he might be, however when word of the Sensbane reconstruction begins to spread, as the supplies begin to roll in and the work crews gather an unusual and probably unexpected means of aid arrives.
A huge earth elemental will arrive when the construction begins on the Sensbane manor. The creature says nothing (at least that people can understand) and begins to assist the crews in what ever physical tasks they may have, the earth elemental also seems to have great control over plants, stone and other forces of nature which it uses to assist in the reconstruction.
Granite Stonejaw however is no where to be seen.

Animus Sensbane marvels at the appearance of the elemental and tries to communicate with it but has no luck. After speaking with the foreman and confirming the elemental has caused no trouble, the aasimar decides to allow the elemental to continue to help. He just wished he knew of some way he could repay it for its services.

Animus spends the day conversing with the foreman, going over the blue prints, and overseeing the work at the villa's construction site. Despite the villa reaching 25% completion, the two have many heated arguments throughout the day. Eventually, Animus instructs the workers to take the rest of the day off due to poor conditions. Though the foreman submits to the Animus' demands, it's clear he is not pleased with the aasimar's involvement.

There was some commotion when a large group of undead showed up at the construction site, but fear turned to confusion when Animus stepped forward bearing a strange ring on his hand. A gift from Bergimon Fellblade, the ring allowed him to command the mummy leading the group of undead, which in turn commanded the rest. With surprising intelligence and dexterity, the undead began to take up tools and join in on the construction.
The remaining workers watched dumfounded at first. Most of the workers then just shrugged and got back to work. Having been in Sigil for some time, they were used to the sight of the undead in the city. However, a smaller group of workers looked on with disgust and went to the foreman to complain. When he explained it was out of his control, they walked off the job. Regardless, construction still proceeds at a faster rate for the undead never need rest.
As new rumors fly throughout the city about the Paladin and his questionable alliances, the Villa nears completion. Though the "cave" still needs a lot more time, the building itself should be complete in the next week.

*Gwynnithe for her part would help out with elemental swarms, notably making use of the earth elemental for helping with the cave, air for cleaning debris, fire for removing the piles of debris entirely, and water for anything that needs to be cleaned before use.*

After months of hard work, the villa is finally complete! Standing tall and proud (and warded from magic thanks to several mages and Dom's collection of materials), it's testament to the restored power and station of the Sensbane family. The workers are well compensated for their hard work. Strangely enough, not all of the workers leave. On occassion, a small group can be seen invited into the villa by Alexia, the Succubi maid. Initial impressions at this sight would be readily dismissed as the group of workers is composed entirely of dwarves and can be clearly seen carrying mining equipment into the Villa. What could be possibly going on now?

Khasef passes by the estate. He pauses momentarily, but sees nothing impressive, unusual, or generally worthy of any more attention than a passing glance. He continues walking down the street, wondering why the folk went through so much effort to appear just as mediocre and bland as any other family in that district.
