Zaed walked on out of a portal, back into sigil. The first actual sightings of him in a long time, odd thing is he hasn't seemed to have aged much, in fact, looking a bit younger.

'Time to carry out a new legacy', he mumbled to himself while making his way to the foundries. He arrived within a private foundry he had been funding for a while now, and he didn't have any back-orders at the moment to fill.

"No more D'kridis, wonder who is running things now..." He started to pull out some parchment and proceeded to write.
wrote:             Manifesto of Nahalis Enterprises

Mission Statement
The goal of Nahalis Enterprises is to further the progress of metallurgical engineering, enchanting, alchemy, etc, etc. Our vision is one of true progress, a progression towards a future that entails casting aside the old, the unnecessary; and to implement new methods and technology in the various crafting and research fields.

He would put it aside, tucked into a scroll case.

He would then be spending his time scouting out various crafters and researchers. He would inquire mostly about projects both past and present as well as checking out the quality of their work before thinking about whether to recruit them into his 'company'.

(((For those willing to get a crafter, arcane researchers, etc involved in the story hook, feel free to post on the thread and I will get to things. I would strongly encourage those of you who like Fringe/The X-files to get involved. Or if you want to cause weird stuff to happen within sigil or on various planes.)))

// Look up Nanae Ashterazhi sometime, I'd be willing to get into this with her.

/// Licca might want to do this, but depending on what happens, you may have Lucia pulling her away and giving her a big lecture about working with strange men. :)

/// I also have another character on top of my other two characters that will have alchemy skills.

((Well, the plan is having Zaed pretty much forming it, and heading the Metallurgical/smithery research division. And as a heads up, no idea how often I will be on, since college started today. Meaning, I will mostly be responding via forums and PMs. Gonna be more Fringe inspired than X-files inspired though, at least from my end :) ))

Zaed would continue scouting about, observing the likes of Nanae, Verdant and Licca at work ((and you can include yours as well Nano since you didn't list names.)). He would be asking around, inquiring as to who they are, their skills and talents, and the like. He wont directly make contact with them at first, but he would rely more on the 'subjects' curiosity to inquire about him.

It would take a fair bit of leg work and questioning to find out much on Nanae. She isn't often in the public eye. Some Aides from the City Courts recall her as a potential applicant to the Fraternity, a mage of some significant talent. Khazeet would mention that the woman is a scrivener and wandmaker. The one who knows the most about her, other than her colleague Verdant, would be the gnome who runs the public lab in the Lower ward. A diligent researcher and experimenter, often coming in with some new planar material to tinker with, or rare tomes to page through. She's quite adept at alchemy, if the gnome is to be believed.

Uran'sel Dystaer only recently became a rather usual sight in the public places of sigil such as the bazar. Doesn't mean she's less shy, unsure and subject to panicking with shows off of wards overcasting on herself for safety. Sigil is a big scary place, no?
she knows a whole lotsa bunch of spells, her studies , as she said a few times, concerning arcana and religions and what surround and link them. she can be seen offering arcane and above all divine scribing service in the bazar, but aside that she doesn't entertains the more practical applications of magic such as enchanting.
hers is a more theoretical (and metaphysical?) approach to the nature, usage and modification of laws of magic and what defy them, although she also uses her magic to strenghten herself in battle for limited times to a great degree of prowess.
perhaps too much theoretical, as she often seems phased out and detached from reality with her dreamy eyes gazing aimlessly ?

Zaed slips a few copies of his manifesto to the public lab in a not too obvious location. Those who would be doing research and such might just glance at it. At the bottom of it, Zaed would have written 'if interested in a new manner of conducting your work, sends reply via courier to Zaed Nahalis.'

In the meantime, he would start drafting plans for a structure to be built to house the necessary facilities. (will make separate thread for that for certain reasons.)

Nanae spots the manifesto one day as she conducts her experiments, the page noticed by being separate from her own tidy pile of notes and tomes. She reads it over, slightly intrigued, and pens a reply in a neat flowing script.
wrote:"You have caught my interest."
~Nanae Ashterazhi
She then sends it off with a courier to Zaed.
