OOC: If you are using the pnp version for the palemaster class then she would summon the wraith with the create greater undead spell that it receives at level 9 (She has 10 levels in it) She would then control it by using the touch attack from her undead graft. Which as per the pnp rules for the palemaster can be used to control undead. If you aren't allowing for the touch attack then she would use a scroll of control undead of which she has several in her iventory or wait for Reshar to be at home (In which case she would delay her visit to Charles) and have him rebuke it.
If you are only using the pnp mechanics for the spells and not the spell like class abilities she woild use the create undead ability that a palemaster gets at level 6 (I envisaged a wraith for narrative purposes but a ghast or a mummy will be fine should you prefer.) She can do this twice a day and each summoning would last for 10 hours. All are intelligent umdead so they would be left with orders to guard the house when noone's in and she would repeat the casting as necesarry when she leaves.
Or if it would be less disruptive she can use greater planar binding and summon an outsider instead of an undead.
As for the supply of bodies although she has not reanimated any yet her plan is to use the graveyards of undersigil over in the syndicate rp thread.
In theintrests of not interupting the flow of things, my character is a sorcerer and as such I would be more than happy to provide you with a full spell list via a pm or a post here if that is of any help.
Apologies if this is a little messy I'll tidy it up when I get in and get to a computer.

This is going to be the OOC side for the “Merchant House Rivalries” thread and any campaign that springs from it. Expect OOC posts moved from that thread to here in the near future.
Basic Rules
These are rules that are the same in all events I run (Most are the server's rules restated).
RP Gold isnÂ’t valid for the most part. If you use NPCs youÂ’ll need to pay them at follower rates, and spells with reagent/ingredient/xp costs must be paid as per PNP (Which means itÂ’s actually possible to delevel if you choose to use spells with XP costs).
PNP spells require permission to use (PM me or post here). In most cases I will allow their use but there are a lot of ways they can go wrong and ruin an event. As mentioned above, users of PNP spells will need to pay XP/Gold/Material costs along with following through with any other quirks reliant of the spell.
This also goes for using NWN2 spells as their PNP counterparts. For the most part though I donÂ’t plan on allowing skills (specifically epic variants) or classÂ’ traits to be changed for reflecting their PNP abilities. ThatÂ’s a can of worms that shouldnÂ’t get opened.
NPC Followers are any NPC you are controlling/contracting/using that is not your own character or a piece of that character provided by a class ability (familiars). Monsters summoned by spells depend on the spell in question, with summon spells being rather cut and dry temporary aides. Create Undead and the like (Which is usually used for more permanent and devoted followers) will likely follow PNP rules and the caster is required to describe where they got the body/spirit from.
In the case of free willed NPCs, your character will need to pay them out of pocket based on their HD and what you asked them to do (dangerous = more expensive). If they are undead or thralls then be mindful of how theyÂ’re used and describe where they came from.
Consider the risks in what type of helper you use, and keep in mind that NPCs are never your character.
Multiple PCs by a single player are not allowed. Pick one before joining in.
Custom mechanics in play
Charles can decide how hard to press his informants and factions connections. He can choose to ask them to play it safe, take it slow, work normally, search swiftly, or Just find something!. IÂ’ll roll for two sets of numbers every day, one for the progress made and one for the amount of warning that progress gave JaqueÂ’s side. The goal is to reach 100 progress while keeping the warning amount as low as possible, with something large happening every 25 points with smaller gains possibly cropping up every 10 points.
Individual character RP and investigation can give or reduce progress and warning. Something else entirely could happen to change the pace and direction of the plot.

This system is to add some chance while leaving choices and their result grounded in IC decisions.wrote: Roll values
Play It Safe: 1d4 progress, 1d2-1 warning
Take it Slow: 1d10+1 progress, 1d6 warning
Work Normally: 2d12+2 progress, 2d10+2 warning
Search Swiftly: 3d10+4 progress, 3d12+4 warning
Just Find Something!: 5d10+6 progress, 5d12+8 warning

Heya everybody,
Sorry for the lack of activity or posts the last couple days, been pretty busy with school this semester(Six classes!) and real life issues. For most purposes, no meaningful time has advanced in this plot (including no progression/warning roles made). Not run the risk of penalizing anyone during my own activity (:P), but if your character has attempted work that's valid.
I'll hopefully be able to crank out a couple responses tomorrow or Friday, along with finishing the back faction work.
Stay gold,
Black Wind
