((you just broke the rules of bidding in so many ways, you effectively said you would bid 14k but you won't unless someone else bids higher than this first offer.))
*For some mysterious reason Kail now bids 15000 jink which is 3000 jink higher than the last bid. How bizarrely odd?*
((See, wierdness! but the only way someone can overcome your 12k bid with a 14k 'reserve for later' bid.))

It has been noted by several people that wherever Gerta goes around Sigil there are usually a group of the same people hanging around, especially during the dark cycles. They all can be seen furtively eying Gerta and occasionally touching their tunics or cloaks as though they are carrying some concealed weapon... possibly bludgeoning weapons.

Often times when one would see Gerta one would also see the armored and heavily armed dwarf Rorin about. Such is not overly surprising though as dwarves tend to stick with other dwarves and all.
Rorin would just look at such a group with a grin and pat one of his many axes just daring them to try anything. He would even go so far as to have a good chuckle at the "Greedy dogs tha' wan a bite o th' treasure withou' earnin' et".

Gerta notes the latest true bid of 15,000 gold with a broad grin.
She has also however, spotted the furtive looks and with a resounding 'Bah!' and a grumble, hoiks her shield higher to her left, has her own sturdy spine splitter never far from her hand, grumbles and glares any attempted threatening behaviour or move to a weapon. This may also however, put off would-be bidders but with a few offers made now of sensible proportions, this doesn't phase her.
'Bring it on!' she would bark out at any such potentials, be it bid or threat to steal or rob.

Inside the armoury Kail lifts a suit of dark adamantine armour from a barrel of black metal dye. He begins the process of fixing a few select ornamental pieces to the armour and finally fastens the ends of his black cape to the sockets of two stones set up near the neck area.
The stones, once rogue stones, are now tainted with an inner darkness the only colour in them a slight purple sheen around their edge.
A small and ornate shield nearby is also embedded with two such stones. The aquisition of the four had been a long and difficult task, moreso expensive.
As he holds the armour up it bears resemblance to some fiend like set of scales.
He smiles for a second as if remembering a moment like this a lifetime ago.
"Lord Onifhet it is good to see you again."

The auction of the rogue stone completed on schedule with no idiotic attempt to best Gerta for it by bludgeoning...neither she nor her best friend, the stocky axe wielder and defender Rorin, who was sharing barrel of ale aside her, would have stood for any such nonsense.
Hildmor attempted a joke bid for one hundred pieces of gold above the last offer at the last second. Kail was stood waiting right next to the dwarf in red plate waiting for her to wrap knuckle to her shield to call end to the bidding. Gerta, in the interest of fair play, realising Hildmor's tactic was merely to cause angst to the fair bid of the dark cloaked figure, and knowing he'd had alot more opportunity to make a fair bid earlier, ignored it and closed the bidding, exchanging rogue stone for the grand sum of fifteen thousand gold.
She promptly nose dived back into her frothy ale after clashing mugs with Rorin, continuing celebration of finding a scarab of protection earlier that day on a rumble in Minauros. But this one...she'd not be auctioning off.
