Sigil: City of Doors

((OOC Preamble))
As the characters have developed some things has slightly changed since I posted Purity's Bio on the forums. Partially because she is slowly changing, and partially because I had to retcon her history a little.
As Purity and Chastity will never meet in game (unless someone takes over control of one of them for an event or something) then i will keep this thread to cover the interactions between the two of them... or 4 even... there are two other sisters who i may one day decide to create and bring to Sigil.... imagine that, the 4 Sunshine sisters together in the Bazaar... i think Vorgazar would *cough* explode *cough* on the spot.

As the story develops it may even work its way into becoming an RP event where other players can get involved and assist or work against one of the sisters, although saying that, i don't have a solid plan yet... at one point I even considered having them as being the same person (Bi-polar mind disorder), being fought over by Freya and Loki and manipulated by both in order to determine which would become the dominant personality.... but decided against that... i love both characters too much.

Here is a quick summary of both characters:

First off they are identical twins (quads actually if including the sisters Harmony and Mercy). Both share a love of revealing clothing. They are well built, slightly shorter than average, and have quite large jubblies. The only noticeable features that differentiates the two is that Chastity prefers more striking makeup and heavy eyeshadow and Purity has a long scar down the inside of her right leg.

Traditionally in their family all serve and worship Freya. Freya being a goddess of Fertility blessed their parents with a multiple birth. Loki with his usual malice affected the developing children and caused them all to have extremely diverse personalities in order to spite the family and Freya (in Midgard the Gods play a lot more direct role in the lives of the inhabitants than for example on Toril)

Purity
Classes: Paladin/Cleric (Good/Healing Domains)/Favoured Soul/Divine Champion - she calls herself a Valkyrie
Alignment: Quite Lawful and Annoyingly Good.
Deity: Freya (Goddess of Love and (human) Fertility.
Personality: Friendly and outgoing but quite blinkered to the real world. Thinks people will always be happy for her to help (interfere some may say) and that evil people just need to be shown the error of their ways. She tries to act like a social worker, helping people resolve their problems. She does not have intimate relationships with men as she has vowed to not settle down with a family until her work for Freya is done... whenever that may be.
Special Note 1: Purity is not only a Favoured Soul. She is best mates with her Goddess, regularly getting invited to parties in Asgard (which she tries to get out of usually as Thor usually makes an ass of himself and tries to get Purity into his bed while asking her if she has seen his big hammer). Her prayers to her goddess usually take the form of a modern telephone call, not so much of a prayer but a gossip session. Getting round to the actual request of the prayer can be a chore for Purity because usually she first has to listen to Freya tell her about the latest news from Asgard and Vanaheimr.
Special Note 2: Purity can perform a special ritual on evil people in order to free their soul from damnation and send it instead to Fólkvangr or Valhalla (the soul's choosing). This cannot take place in Sigil itself and the Beastlands is usually the best place for it (the waterfall is a nice spot for it). Of course, a side effect of the ritual is the ritual sacrifice of the individual, and therefore their death, making this usually can only be performed on an evil person who is repentant and looking for salvation. Purity would not perform this on an unwilling person anyway.

Chastity
Classes: Barbarian/Cleric (Evil/Death Domains)/Blackguard
Alignment: Somewhat Chaotic and deliciously Evil.
Deity: Loki (God of strife, fire and mischief).
Personality: Her personality can change like the wind. One moment being all solicitous and polite and the next become a raging tempest of emotion, hatred, and anger. She can remain in one mood for a long time until something causes it to change. She will even act sometimes very much like her sister offering help or assistance to people, but you can be sure there is an ulterior motive.
She dresses like a prostitute and acts like one as well... and, well, is one, in that she is not adverse to taking coin in return for sexual favours. When she first arrived in Sigil on the trail of her sister she made her first coins in the Hive selling her body. She is absolutely unashamed about what she does and takes insults like whore and slut as compliments. Now she is established though and in less need of coin, she will only give favours for very large sums of money.
Special Note: Chastity likes to keep what she calls "pets". These are people bound to her body, soul, and mind. Slaves to her needs and whims. Her last one died when upon a whim Chastity ordered him to cut out his own heart just to entertain her. She professes love to her pets but is not above hurting them for her own amusement.
\\ RP Note: Do not agree to become a pet of Chastity unless you really really are willing to risk it... or you are a complete masochist.
Chastity selects her targets, usually good looking males or females and tried to entice them into sex or simply offers them outright to become her pet. She will sometimes use charm, sometimes fear and intimidation, or sometime a bunch of lies. Sex with her under these conditions is the prelude to a ritual. ((Actually sex with her as a business transaction is perfectly safe.. business is business)).
Once she has a willing or unwilling victim in her bed and has satiated herself she starts the ritualistic torture of the pet-to-be. This can take anywhere between hours, days, or even weeks. It is a breaking on the mind and spirit and it is strong enough to break any bonds that may even exist such as pacts regarding souls with demons or gods (although for this to take part the final part of the ritual must take place outside Sigil). If the pet-to-be survives and their spirit is broken they will retain their personality in general but be completely bound to Chastity and will obey her every word. Unfortunately, strong willed characters sometimes will die before submitting and then all that is left is a lot of meat and a pool of blood.

\\ Place: A private room in Muriel's Inn

The room is dimly lit. A small fire burns in the heath. On first look it could be mistaken for a lone woman sitting naked on the floor crosslegged in a meditative position looking into a large mirror, until you realize it is two identical women sitting facing each other.

"We are one" they chant. "By the blood that binds us we do so vow not to harm each other lest Odin send Huginn and Muninn to peck out our eyes and feast upon our entrails".

"That was fun" says Purity. "We haven't done that since we were small".

"Yes" says Chastity "As I recall about one week before before I gave you that scar on your leg"

Purity flinches and her hand involuntarily moves to caress the scar running down the inside of her right leg.

"I forgive you. It was an accident."

Chastity laughs an evil laugh. "Yes, an accident, i was aiming for your sex. I told you I was busy, that you shouldn't disturb me. But as usual, you wanted to know what I was doing, you couldn't stay away"

"I remember" says Purity sadly "It was summertime just after out thirteenth birthdays..."

Purity is looking for her sister in the forest. She knows she is somewhere here. Chastity was always the most secretive of the sisters, always going off alone, getting up to mischief. Purity knows her sister needs her, needs her help, and Purity worries about her. Her other sisters are no trouble really. Harmony with her constant laughter and smiles, Mercy always doing as she is told, even if sometimes she took the letter of the law too literally and with too much pleasure.

Purity follows the trail to the old abandoned woodshed. She had seen her sister being followed by one of the local boys. The boys could be rough although usually kind, but Purity knew this one to be a troublemaker and hoped that he meant no harm to her sister.

There was a light on inside the woodshed, a faint light shining through the cracks of the boarded up windows.

Purity crept closer.

From inside came noises. A panting, a moaning, and then sobbing.

Purity's heart skipped a beat in worry for her sister. The boy was big and strong, her they were only young girls. Regardless she knew she must help her sister. She grabbed a branch a charged in through the door ready to help her sister... only to stop at the vision which greeted her.

The boy was lying on the flood covered in cuts and blood everywhere. Her sister, naked, standing over him with a wicked looking knife in her hand.

Chastity turned to regard her sister. "He failed." she stated simply. "He was not strong enough to become my pet."

Purity stared in horror and Chastity's colour began to rise and look of rage on her face.

"And you! I told you not to follow!" She grips the knife so tightly her knuckles turning white. "I know you, you will go running to mummy and daddy and tell them about this!"

Purity starts to back away "What have you done? This is wrong! You have killed him!"

"Yes, i have. And now I have to kill you!" and with those words Chastity lunged.

A struggle ensues and in a moment a long ragged and bloody cut appears down the side of Purity's leg.

"You should have stayed away sister." rage sufficing her face, and with those words she raises the knife high in order to deliver a killing blow.

"PURITY! CHASTITY! Where are you?" comes a voice from outside not too distant.

A look of panic crosses Chastity's face. "Daddy?"
"Daddy!" screams Purity.

Chastity leaps up, smashing through the boarded up back door with strength unbelievable for such a young girl and flees.

Purity lies sobbing on the floor until her father finds her and takes her in his arms and carries her home.


"You were declared outcast and daughter of Hel" says Purity snapping back into the present.

"Hel" she laughs "Not quite. Loki is now my patron. The one who sent you here to Sigil as a trick on you. He has no love for our family sister. Freya has all too often spoken against in him in the halls of Asgard."

"But know this dear sister" Chastity continues "I am deeply sorry for hurting you. Our vow to never harm each other is the one vow in my life I never wanted to break. I... just... get angry sometimes. I go into rages, and I want to hurt people. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Purity looks sympathetically at her sister. "But you know it is wrong. You know what you did was evil. Let me help you. I can help you. I know I can".

"Sister, you are so foolish. You don't understand anything. I am irredeemable. I enjoy hurting people. I enjoy twisting them into my playthings. Since i fled our home I have seen and done so many things that would cause you to vomit and be sick for weeks. You cannot help me. I will not allow it" Chastity's temper and voice starts to rise.

Purity sighs again. "Then what do you suggest we do? My fallen sister is here in the same city as I am, and any troubles you plan I must work against. Just the yesterday I had to dismiss the shadow you had attached to the Kobold Holo"

Chastity looks around "My Shadow is back! You interfered in my business again!"

"Yes, and I will keep interfering until you stop it"

"And I will do as I please sister. Do not rouse me to anger. I may vow not to harm you, but I can still hurt those those who you care for... that Wizard for example, what's his name? Tibalt? I've seen how he looks at you, he considers you a friend.. and perhaps more. And others... yes, they all love Purity. Pure and sweet Purity. Would you like to see them end up like that poor boy from home?"

Purity sits resolutely "Sister, you try to harm them, and I will defend them. I will also keep my vow and never harm you, but it does not mean I cannot stop you with magic or by restraining you."

"Then we return to your question... what now for us?" asks Chastity.

"It is clear." Answers Purity "In order to keep our vows we must stay out of each others way as much as possible in public. If we see each other in the street we go in opposite directions. Just do not expect me to stand by idly if i witness you hurting someone or the after effects of your doings."

"It is agreed then" says Chastity "But, at least here, in the Inn, we can be sisters again?" a hopeful look on her face, almost a pleading look.

"Yes, we can be sisters. Now and always, unto death and beyond. When I am available in the Inn I will hang a sprig of Holly on my door and you do likewise, we will know it is acceptable to approach each other. And sister... do not attempt to make any "pets" here in the Inn, things would go badly between us if I hear of it."

"Again, agreed".

"Sisters then?"

"Sisters."

They lean over to each other and embrace, crying into each others shoulders and necks until they fall asleep in each others arms.

((Note to Vorgazar - there is nothing sexual about this last thing... really, nothing at all!))

Chastity watched from an upper window of the Inn. Her sister and Hildmor were entering the Inn together.

"What is my sister doing in the company of Hildmor?" she wondered to herself.

Swiftly moving downstairs she watched them enter one of the ground floor rooms. Her curiosity demanded she try and find out what this was about. She sneaked into an adjoining room and pressed her ear to the wall. However, they were keeping quiet in the other room and she could hear nothing.

"I dare not even try and scrying spell. If Hildmor discovered I was spying on him his revenge would be swift"

Chastity settled down to wait and see what happened her mind racing. What were Purity and Hildmor talking about? Purity, whiter than white, and Hildmor... well, anything but white going by his reputation. Was Purity helping Hildmor in some way? Trying to "save" him? Or was she employing his services? Or... a smile spread across her lips, maybe Hildmor was trying to convert Purity, show her the error of her ways... now that would be funny.

The conversation seemed to go on for hours and Chastity started to fall asleep, but eventually the voices raised a little as Hildmor and Purity ended their conversation. Chastity heard the door to the room go and she adjusted her position to be close to the door and opened it just a crack.

Furstrated, they were still keeping their voices fairly low. She caught but a few words.

Deserved, beggar, think, wise, jink... and sister. Just snatches of their words, but the word sister caused Chastity's heart to skip a beat. Was her sister plotting against her? Was she planning to use Hildmor in some way against her?

But then Hildmor offered Purity some money, which the stupid girl refused. Chastity could not make sense of any of it.

She settled back to wait until both her sister and Hildmor had departed, her mind racing as to what sort of deal could be forming between the dark and the light. Nothing good for her she was sure of.
