(( 19:00 gmt +0. We'll likely have to finish this in game as well so you catch up with the others for the battle. ))

The wizard uttered an incantation while holding his staff Close to his forehead. Instantly they were spirited away from the windy plateau.

The pair found themselves in a dark room lit only by glowing red orbs with imprisoned small fiends floating within them. Black polished marble covered the floor and walls. A scrawny pallid wizard sat at ebony desk scribbling in a black tome. Unter introduced the pair. Six Thayian Knights stood guard at the back of the room.

"Headmaster Orim, this is Ordlas a priest of Boccob and the lady is named Ana."

The haggardly thin face looked up from the massive tome with a sceptical slightly annoyed expression. The large round globes for eyes glared at them.

"Just spit it out I have much to do."

Clahra raises a hand to Ordlas indicating she'll deal with this. She leans over placing both hands on the desk so her face is level with his. She talks very slowly and very deliberately.

"You have screwed up. Eltaab is breaking free. The Cysts are getting bigger."

She points at him.

"You need to do something."

She gestures around the room raising both hands.

"Or all of this will not matter."

The priest stays back to watch and listen, waiting for the results of the fiend's very straightforward approach.

He slammed the tome close with dust Rising as a mushroom cloud. The visible veins in his bald pallid head swelling to the bursting point in academical ire. His pale hue reddened perhaps not fully as red as his robe but quite red still.

"Barging in here as you owned the academy! I am the Headmaster! I will have discipline!"

Lightning fast he he drew a wand he had his hands on underneath the desk during their conversation and the trio were strucked by a arch of lightning most likely tuned for disciplinary use for the students. The Alue-fiend saved by the red silk cloth Ordlas was not as lucky as his hair bristling vividly.

"Never look the Headmaster directly in the eye and never not ever point a finger at him! Have it written down and repeat it at eavy meal for the next two weeks loud so the other students can hear you. Next time you will be expelled and banned. Banned for life!"

"I have studied the cysts for years I am well aware of everything. Well documented including the condition of the cysts in the north."

He pointed the wand at the fragments holding the imprisoned fiends as well as suppoting the room with a otherworldy red pulsating light. Most likely taken from the cysts or being small cysts in their original shape.

"We are nothing like the barbarians we can manage our bindings."

With a shattering sound like glass whereupon an orange glowing Lilithu leaped out of the broken cyst the four tentecles rushing towards the headmaster while the knights raised their Shields and rushed in protectively.

She would be about to reply but as the demon burst forth Clahra would react to that first. Should she have time she'd cast a spell to disable the other demon.

((Spell cast: Quickened Bigby's Forceful Hand.

As Ordlas is still affected by the spell he is surprised by the demon's sudden appearance and lifting his hands he prepares a Greater Dispel magic to counter whatever spell or spell like ability this creature might try to use- just in case the Alu Fiend's attack fails to immobilize the creature.

The phantasmal hand rushes at the Tanar'ri and knocks her backwards the tentecles lashing wildly in the air until she lands with a dullified thud with the four worm-like extensions falling to the cold black marble.

Another hand materialises above the fiendess. Clutching its gigantic fingers around the female and lifted her several feet above ground where she hoovered withing the ghostly hand her long hair fiery hair falling before her face wher it billowed just as flame. Looking at the pair with her orange orbs for eyes burning with hatred as she was most displeased with her condition.

Shaking her violently the headmaster made the same hand gesture as the hand formated in to remind her it was far easier to comply than not in the given situation.

"Well done students."

Unter felt it necessary to at least try to comment his eronous statement. "Master they are not.."

"Shh. Let them speak to it."

The Tanar'ri squrimed in the hand.

"It is too late. You toyed too carelessly with the cysts and you avoke the slumbering demons locked within."

"How many Cysts are nearby? Are they in contact with each other, perhaps connected? Who is .. toying.. with those cysts?"

The last question is aimed at both the demon and the Red Wizards.

The demoness glanced spitefully at the Red Wizard when she gave the answer to Ordlas.

"They roused them with the hopes that they would attack the Rashemi as an divertion when they launch their assult on the shores of Lake Mulsantir. It went slightly awry when they learned that one cyst connected to many others. Lord Alrathraxis will break into more and more until Eltab himself are finally free. The next question you need not ask. I will answer it willingly. Where is the major cyst containing him? Underneath the Waves of that lake."

Back in Sigil Ordlas returns a book he borrowed to the library. The priest is more silent then usual, keeping the conversations with other priests and sages to the polite minimum.

The group suceeded, pushed back an assault on the land of Rashemen, foiled Thay's invasion plans.
Sadly the meeting with the Red Wizards took a violent end but it netted them some ducuments and plans which Ordlas gave the witch in charge of this expedition.
Battling undead and dragons the group was almost defeated a few times but in the end they always suceeded. He allows himself a small smile, unusually warm, as he thinks proudly of 'his fiend'.

Thay suffered losses, Rashemen should have some peace.

But as bitter as wars between two nations and cultures are they pale compared with the true evil they defeated.

Alrathraxis has been defeated and pushed back into the cyst, his plans to free Eltab foiled. Now this evil lurks beneath the waves of some cold, almost frozen lake, biding its time.
Ordlas left a guardian behind, a tiny, sentient construct- first made to be a gift and sign of good will to ensure peaceful negotiations with the Red Wizards it now has a different purpose.

It now watches the cyst, never needing to sleep, eat, breath- a perfect little guardian, standing ready to alarm the costal town should the cyst be weakened again.

He says good bye to the priest and heads home, suddenly tired. Reaching into his pockets he finds some receipts and Ordlas groans inwardly but cannot supress another smile.

((Thank you for the event, Krayt, and thanks to all who participated as well. Had fun. ))
