A noted cosmologist and scholar, Ambris Troile, has spotted numerous times in the Clerks and Market Wards, attesting to the need to research the prophecy surrounding, and planar mechanics behind the coming of this other Sigil:
"It's true, bloods. It's true. We need decisive action in these dark times. While the pressing need for action is being heeded, the best of the best in the Intelligentsia need to be pooling their resources and research together to understand how this is happening, how it works... And how these forces can be turned to our advantage in the struggle to come. I call on any cosmologists, chronomancers, the cthonic or just plain know-it-alls to send word to their faction Higher-Ups that we can help."

A man in a very colourful and floral looking shirt would be noted conversing with other members of the magical elite and scholars of Sigil, in line with Ambris' call for those with worms in their brain-boxes.
Noted for his open markings of the Liminalists upon his attire, Noramos Churston would offer up his services as a Chronomancer, to help better understand how the timelines might be getting a little skewed because of this... well, quite blatant dimensional mishap.
"So like, I heard there was this, alternate Sigil yeah?" The rather baked looking wizard said after finishing a drag on some dubious cigarette. "I think like, we might have some problems, of a paradoxical nature. I mean, you know, what will happen if like, we end up causing some kind of bootstrap paradox? Or they do. We need to know how to like, fix it, yo."
Whether or not the man is taken seriously, he clearly had some talent in the arcane and with psionics, so if nothing else, his mastery of the Art could have been useful.

The drowess, Vierkiira, entered as the know-it-alls were summoned. Looking down at all those present, which was quite a feat for being shorter than likely all of them. Smoking tobacco as usual, only stopping if told to. As an arrogant mercenary wizardess, she had only one question to ask.
"What's the pay? The skills of I do not come for free."

Strangely enough, the enemy soldier went with them. . willingly?

News of the prisoner, along with the copy of the report, had eventually reached the non-Inquisitor version of said Aidan Rhistel, and while the news of his double finally surfacing didn't really upset him more than the other events did, it didn't take much for the half drow to decide to show up to the Prisons, officially requesting to be able to see and talk with the prisoner.
Or better.
With his personal guard.

Nearby heads turned at the mention of Chronomancy. A few scholars wince. There's a sudden silence.

"Not so loud!" A friendly looking wizard murmurred, "Time magic is banned in the Cage. Surely you know. . ."

Xujja shows up at the prison and says he has some more specific questions for Prisoner XH-0001 as soon as they will let him in

Crake spends a couple of hours each cycle making his way around the courts and asking those guvners he is acquainted with if anyone has seen any suspicious behavior amongst the bailiffs, researchers, advocates, and other guvs they know, or if anyone has seemed different lately. He uses his own sharp senses to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior as well, and uses this approach to quietly and personally search for any other-sigillian infiltrators that the Lady may have left alive.

Spotting Crake walking by, Grey stops him for a moment

"Administrator! How fortuitous! I have just come from the Great Foundry where I am pleading a case to our Factol to expand aide to the city. I have a personal plan of action as well."

He nods to a stack of papers under one arm

"Here then is a draft I have prepared to post at all civic locations and bring to the administrative headquarters of each of our factions. I am declaring my effort to arm, armor, craft and enchant for any and all that take part in the war effort to save our Sigil. Doing so at cost of the materials alone. I will accept no payments for such work. It does not matter the tool in question- a sword for one person, enchanted plate for the next or a golem for the one that comes after. I will turn away no one who has need, and who in turn has sworn to help this city survive. If you wouldn't mind, take a few of these parchments with you. I believe you would likely think of other strategic locations these can be placed that I have not considered."

He gives a short laugh

"This may cost me a good deal of sleep if there is a significant need and response, I'll just have to wait til my next incarnation if I need to rest. And I do not doubt that someone will approach and say someone they deal with determined 'at cost' to be this on this, that on that. For those people that would abuse my offer they can return to their someone's and have them enact such benevolent overtures. But I've borrowed your ear long enough. Fair cycle to you, friend."

With that, he gives a nod of respect and goes about dropping off his declaration.

A letter addressed to whomever it may concern at the Prison was immediately delivered by a red-headed elf after Inquisitor Aidan was transported away. She stressed it was urgent.
To whom it may concern,

The captive, 'Inquisitor Aidan', is a danger to both himself and others. He mockingly refers to Her as something she's not. When you inevitably question him, be very careful and silence him when he does this. He's very bold, cocky, and could bring his death if not others with his attitude in Sigil. You may wish to move him elsewhere if this poses too much of a problem.

Thank you,
Tavia

Probably expected, but at the news of the "Lord Inquisitor" detention at the Prison, soon followed another request for a visit by his alternate version.
Whether just out of morbid curiosity or else, it was just anyone's guess....
