Chant is that the Sensates are looking for four unique pieces of art- called the four Pillars. It is said they are a mix of Sensory Stone and Object of Art, each of them the embodyment of a certain layer or plane and allowing a unique way to experience what this plane has to offer.

A group of Adventurers suceeded in finding a book- a diary of the artist who created the Pillars ( some Dismarion Who-walks-Far) and inside there are hints hidden on the whereabouts of the items.

Factotum Shirala of the Sensates made the text accessable to whoever is interested, hoping someone might find out something....
wrote: Four birds sing their song
one in the light,
in a place most fair,
soaring in the golden air.

The others travelled long
one to the night
to a place of utter cold
that crushes souls, young and old.

Two left behind darkness and light
to go where Order lives
and Chaos grows,
each singing a song no other knows.

The first sings of the beauty and life
in a place where you forget your toil and strife
until love and bliss claims you.

The second sings of loss with no end,
from a place where souls fade and lament
until hate and despair eats them.

The third song is of many voices as one
sung in a place of everturning wheels, never done
until conformity smothers you.

The last sings with everchanging voice
never repeating, every moment a new unique choice
until you the day you lose yourself.

A mountain high, a castle of light
a chasm dark, the tunnels so tight
a garden lush, beautiful and shining
a hall of stone and steel, the dead are dining.
Four birds, four voices
find them quick but be mindful of your choices.

Jall started to examine the poem already, perhaps guessing the planes easily, the layers and realms requiring some more attentive reading

Factotum Shirala is gathering whatever information she can get from those owning copies of the book.

She looks through the archives and the stories and pieces of art collected at the Festhall- all dealing with Dismarion Who-walks-Far's adventures- hoping to wrest more secrets of them.

Of course all who want to help are invited to access this collection.

A night wanderer, with the poem in her hands,
decide to pay a visit to a Castle paint in black.
Lights tilts, shades dance.
But the colors were stolen and will never come back.

As one more, this shade wander,
through corridors and dark rooms.
She observe one after another,
souls on pain swimming in gloom.

Looking for the echos of a song,
she stay hidden and listen carefully.
Notes carved deep on a sensory stone,
will not be heard on that void of memory.

After hearing about Factotum Shirala's quest, Sasha takes a copy of the poem home with her to think about.

Feel free to post and organize the trip here- I will follow the thread. Should there be no takers I will decide based on what I got in the PMs. ))

Sasha paid a visit to Factotum Shirala to compare notes, and inquire as to who else was involved in the hunt so far.

Shirala meets Mimi in the Festhall, the Factotum smiling cheerfully, having changed from her elaborate light maille into some more comfortable dress. Inviting Sasha to join her at a table and share some Arcadian Apple Wine with her she shares what she knows.

"I know that there are two more Sensates involved- Mareth and Trissa. I do not know any details but I think they are also investigating the pillars' whereabouts.

There are also some Halflings who know the hints and some Lich.... some holy warrior and the infameous Doomguard Factor Ashteroth as well. And more.

I do not know how far their research has progressed however."

******************************************************************************

Niflheim- Nepheris find the place oddly calming, the darkness and the despair, the gray everywhere, the blandness and bleakness of the whole place not hostile to the undead.

Arriving at Loss of Innocence she is approached by some mortal, the man's skin grey as hois clothes, his eyes empty. "Colours... it has been ages since I saw.. you are not from here. What brings you to this place? Leave it... leave... ah. It does not matter. Nothing matters. Not anymore."
The town is silent- a queer thing as places like this usually bustle with live and activity but there are no shouts, no laughter, the locals lurching through the streets, eyes cast down, movements slow, all hope and innocence lost.

*******************************************************************************

Jall will find plenty of books on this topics- she might even find some about that Hero, the places he visited.

She learns one things from her reading- the Pillars are all about one pure ideal- Good, Evil, Law, Chaos. This tells them from something called 'The Corners' which are said to be extemes- Chaos and Good or Law and Evil. Nothing is found about their nature, however.

((Sorry for the late answer guys. Had a busy week, so only found time for long postings and answers on weekend :) ))

Slightly bending over him with the advantage of her height and looking at the bleak man closer, the dark masked lady stare at his eyes. Lighting them up with the bright green of her gaze and with her face barely at a few inches from him. Her figure now interposed in the way of light seem darker, taller, bigger. Her shade shrouding the man brings cold to his bones, and her sharped smile feels ready to cut through flesh.

Her tone sounds calmed and polite however her words come out imposing and imperative. Veiled threats dressed up with glamour were cast like a hex disguised as a blessing:

-Tell me kind man, tell me what has happened recently in the city and in the dark halls. I want to listen even the darkest rumors.

Sasha nodded.

"Wonderful! I'll get in touch with Trissa and Mareth then. . . and maybe some halflings. . . and let you know what we come up with!"
