Maraphiel props herself on the Da'nanin's desk nonchalantly and announces "I'm going to handle this. If those people really want to go they better keep up."

Factotum Da'nanin receives a visit from the crimson robed individual that accompanied Xujja to capture a Red Sigilite. He offers a gesture of courtesy before speaking:

"Factotum Da'nanin, of the organizations designated to aide the city, yours is positioned best to acquire information that will be needed by all. While I am no Sensate, I am a Godsman. And you are looking for answers as to why Her Grace is absent in the Red City and why a god of portals, the supposed reason for the existence of the The Blinks, is still alive and active on the other side. If ever there was a reason for the Godsmen to investigate, this is it.

In between my meditations*, I will look to go on what raids are available to find what else can be observed. Barring such opportunities, I would like to look over what information is retrieved, to determine pattern or meaning where it may be obscured. Let me provide an example as to why this is needed:

Before we left on our mission, I mentioned the Rule of Three in observance of the numbers of our party. To our former god of portals, this number was significant to his belief system. But The Blinks, believed created from his death, break this number. Are they a Fourth Rule to our former portal god, or is their number part of the belief system of the portal god from Red Sigil? Knowledge is absolutely power. Understanding this apparently small example could have large impact on our survival."

With that, he leaves his words in the air and gives a nod of respect to the Factotum, turning to the doorway but vanishing from sight before going through

After Xujja goes over the information gained from the captive with Factotum Da'nanin, he has some immediate suggestions and follow up questions.

"This prisoner knows his masters schedule, no doubt. If we can get a location and a time he will be leaving or arriving home, or anywhere else we should strike. But this has to be done quickly, if this prisoner can give us any location within a reasonable time to expect that their plans have not changed then we really need a squad with a few Gatecrashers in there to kill or preferably capture this Inquisitor

mimifearthegn wrote: Tue May 19, 2020 1:45 amThe prisoner seemed ignorant of the existence of Her Serenity, both in his world and ours.

What about the portals? Does the other Sigil have another Mecuria and Abyss and so on? If so, do they have Gatecrashers of their own? I checked out some of these spots, and no portals responded to me so my guess is no but it may just be a matter of their portals only responding to their Gatecrashers.

mimifearthegn wrote: Tue May 19, 2020 1:45 amThe prisoner had no tactical knowledge to offer. XH-0001 claimed he was only a bodyguard.

He probably knows more then he realizes. How did the big hole get in the bazaar in his world?

We are being attacked by some massive armies, how are they moving them around. Thats thousands and thousands of soldiers that had to be massed up and moved somehow. It took them time and effort and theres not a big chance they were able to keep it secret. Knowing how they moved that army and got it from one world to the next may help us stop a second wave or their sudden redeployment later on in the war.

How are they on food? They have a lot of soldiers to feed, if this turns in to a war of more than a few weeks we need to know how hungry they are and how they are getting all those soldiers fed so we can stop that nonsense. If they have a source of food like our Temple of Hermes, destroying it would be an excellent mission for another team

Da'nanin's office, if it could be called that, was more of a reception hall. It could have passed for a throne room, perhaps, on some primes. The Factotum looked over at the invasion of his space.

"I will be handling the planning and organization of future missions. . Maraphiel, was it? Should I put you down as a volunteer?"

Da'nanin suggests that perhaps Xujja should go and question the prisoner if he has specific inquiries. The appropriate permissions and paperwork can surely be arranged with the Mercykillers.

After a cycle or two of deliberation, the Bleakbold finally throws his lot in not with his own Faction's effort ("I, uh... don't think I can really heal people. Other than waving a cure wounds trinket. Which, uh... doesn't count," says Caex, at some point, to someone, somewhere), but with the Sensate's Gatecrashing team.

After a bit of wandering around the Festhall, he finally finds the right cutter to talk to. "So, uh... Yeah, am a Bleaker, but... I think I'd be doing more with the Gatecrasher team. Uh... not a Gatecrasher myself. But I've been sneaking around the planes for a turn and, uh... can shadowdance and read any scroll you give me and... Well. Uh." He scratches the back of his neck. "And I know people tend to just... overlook kobolds sometimes. A lot of the time. So... maybe that will be useful. For once. Instead of just bad."

The oneeyed ragtag gutter girl clad in countless times stitched patchwork leather sporting a messy brunette mop of hair prods into the factoriums office with noticeable discomfort for the official and guarded environment. Twitchy and tense all the while curious as if she never saw a city officials working space from the inside before she fidgets and taxes the place curiously until someone would finally confront the unwashed scoundrel for the reasons of coming here.

"Uh... tis suppose to be the place gettin after them mirror things aint it? Ehm. Names Asmae an yeknow Im kinda good at findin stuffs and folks."

She wrinkles her nose as if it wasnt her carrying the flavor of the hive and undercity into the office and shifts restlessly while finding herself under scrutiny in return.

"I aint no mighty warrior but I know a thing or two bouts hidin. Or findin hidden stuffs. Kinda know wigglin my ass through them rifts rounds the place too... an yaknow them mirror places aint like no others. Really creepy. So yeah... as long as ya aint lookin at me doin no fightin I gots a nose in the dark fer ya. Uh. If ya wanna have it an all."

It's been quite some time since the Red Skinned Sensate has been seen in the cage, or for the matter, active in any Sigil Related Poltics or Extraplanar Affairs, nevertheless, Helena Al'Iblis would lend her expertise as well as Gate Crashing Skills for the task at hand

The day after Xujja, Crake, and Rhistel went to talk to the prisoner secured from the Gatecrasher's first venture into the other Cage, the Mercykillers sent word that the prisoner had finally given a few details as to Inquisitor Aidan's schedule. . .
Prisoner XH-0001 was questioned about "Fated Inquisitor Aidan" and testified to the following:

- Inquisitor Aidan is currently actively investigating several suspected dissidents throughout the city.

- His next appointment was at the headquarters of the Sign of One.
