Rumor: Harmonium Taking Losses?

Following the strange events involving slaad, Harmonium, and the supposed Lady of Pain in the Great Bazaar, rumor begins spreading from the Lady's Ward that several Harmonium patrols didn't return to the Barracks at their appointed time. More than a day later now, and the rumors continue to grow, some speculating that the performance in the Hive was less heroic than the Lobsters would have you believe and that the slaad - or maybe even opportunistic Indeps - did away with the patrols in question.
Meanwhile in the alleyways feeding from the Great Bazaar into the surrounding wards, naked bodies have been found hung from rafters, with a sloppily written message scrawled over them: "NO LAW BUT OUR OWN!"
The Bazaar itself buzzes with the dark developments, drawing the conclusion that some Indeps have finally had enough with the Harmonium forcing their way into places where they're unwelcome. Some few even speculate that the slaad incident was carefully engineered by the Harmonium in order to gain a foot hold and foster a little good grace in the Bazaar. Strangely enough, the most frequent evidence stated to back this conspiracy theory is the appearance of the Lady of Pain, as the whisperers insist that she would never have appeared for something so small and that she was actually a Harmonium mage playing the part. Surely even the Lady's role in the plot was meant to link her power with the Harmonium's in the minds of the witnesses. More pragmatic locals insist that even the Hardheads aren't stupid enough to impersonate the Lady of Pain and risk her ire.
Thus far the Harmonium have refused to make an official comment based on any of this, nor will they confirm that they have missing patrols at all. Instead, officials will only assure that those guilty of the alleyway murders will be found and brought to justice.
