Paragon Applies for a Slave Permit

A letter makes its way to the Fraternity of Order's headquarters.

Most Dear Guvners,

I, the entity and mage known as Paragon, request the right to own slaves. While some find this odd, a woman has presented to me a desire to be my slave. She has been such all her life and knows no other way of life. Others have tried to teach her of freedom but her training, to never even consider such a concept as freedom, prevents any progress in this area.

Being a slave grants her security. It grants her a sense of peace and a place in this world. I can promise you, and sign a contract if needed, that I will not mistreat this women. The right to own her; however, will bring her comfort.

If you do not believe such a thing, her name is Ticla. You are free to speak with her yourself. You will likely come to the same conclusion I did. All I ask is to own her before someone else will abuse her.

Munchie Tiddlebottoms frowns at the request, the clerk wanting to have nothing to do with such matters. He decides to send it to one of his superiors: Garen Seph.

A reply is sent to Paragon with a couple of forms attached.

Your request for a licence to own a contractual slave has been granted.

This licence is to own, only, and not to purchase and must be renewed every six months. It permits you to own an individual who has entered into slavery due to contractual wishes or agreements and shortfalls through contracts with you.

Please ensure the attached forms are filed, along with a signed copy of the contract between you and this woman, and forwarded to my office. I will ensure your final licence is sent to you once I have received them.

Before the six month period is up, you must ensure you apply for renewal or the licence will expire and you will have to begin the application process once again.
