Like to do a small party event (5-6 chars) max. As it involves orcs, I'd like 1 representative of the Iron Tusk involved. The rest can be whoever, but a good mix (humans, tieflings, and even elves, halflings, etc) would be nice.
It's mid level,up to 17th or so.
Event Date/Time: Signup starts 01JULY2010. Event will occur as per party consensus.

Event Level Ranges: 18th level Maximum. Participant Requirements: - At least one representative of the dominant Orc tribe currently.
Post here for interest.
As the IT rep is the only real requirement, I'll shelve this until one contacts me.
Finally - FINALLY - after nearly a month's time, orc scouts come straggling back. Of the five that were sent, only two return.
Their explanations are, at first, pure fictional lies. Then one finally confesses they stopped at a famous brothel in Nishrek just to "get a little beer and some boshnagz". Two weeks and many bar fights later, in which two of them were slain (and likely reappeared, a true resident of Nishrek, elsewhere on the plane, now drafted into it's war and gone forever), three of them flee the brothel a (owing huge 100,000 jink debt involving room and board, liquor, and whores).
One dies at the hand of a hobgoblin assassin.
The remaining two get what news they can, and struggle back to Sigil.
Apparently, for a short time, the goblins not only managed to double their numbers, but triple them (Orcs are always outnumbered about an average of 4-1 anyway; their superior combat skills keeps the war roughly even. On the other hand, Hobgoblins actually are a bit superior (generally) due to the fact they can adopt a military lifestyle and mentality a little easier and are as good as, if not better, fighters than orcs).
These huge numbers overwhelmed the orcs at many strategic vantage points - it was like trying to hold back the tide - and several important fortresses fell.
Then the numbers dwindled off, and things have returned to more or less "normal", save the orcs are going to have to work hard to regain the lost ground.
Word has it that Gruumsh is livid with anger, fit to be tied, and Ilneval is in disfavor, blamed for the losses, despite the fact his forces couldn't really do anything about what happened.
In the meantime, hobgoblins everywhere are bragging about their victories, and openly addressing orcs throughout Sigil as "Wussies that follow that decrepit, one-eyed faggot".
