Emeraldin Undren, known as Emmy among her friends, was found dead in her room today. She was 28 with no children. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Undren and her mother Ruby Undren. She leaves behind two twin sisters Crystalis Undren and Saphhira Undren, her life partner Rita, and the numerous friends she made in her life. Emmy was always friendly and outgoing. She always tried to include everyone in her life.
Upon examination Emeraldin was very pale, had no heartbeat, and was not breathing. She was very cold so it is hard to determine the excatly time of death. There was a trickle of what appears to be blood running down the side of one cheek. She was sick and it is believed she choked to death on her own blood.
The Dustmen did offer to take her body, but her long time girlfriend Rita refused. She had a glass casket made for her with a frame made completely of gold. The casket is being kept in her room for friends who wish to come visit and see her.
Emmy was found by her sisters Crys and Saph who came to visit. Knowing she was sick they panicked when she did not open the door. She was lifeless and unresponsive. Thus far the family and her girlfriend have not been available for comment.
While loss is never an easy thing, it is what we take from someone's life that makes them truly worthwhile. Their experience and what we learned from them will always remain with us. Take not life for granted for it always goes by too fast and you never can be sure what the next day will bring. You will be missed Emeraldin Undren but you will always live on in the hearts of those who loved you.

Crystalis Undren after numerous attempts to raise Emeraldin would sit down next to Rita defeated. She would break down in tears.
"We just got to a good place Emmy, why'd you have to leave now?"

Following Emmy's instructions if she should die, Saph immediately rushes off to get Darremar. She's would tell him of the transpiring events and encourage him to come with her.

While Emeraldin and Kala didn't knew each other very well or could be considered as close friends, Emeraldin had however earned her sympathy. She quickly went to find Darremar she thought could be more knowledgeable on such matters than herself. She however went in the mortuary to ask if anything special was found in the halfling's blood or body.

One of the Dustmen who was on the scene would meet with Kala.
"We were not permitted to get a single sample or even touch the body. We had to make a diagnosis based on how the scene was in it's current form. It is strange really, why call us at all if you don't want an accurate diagnosis?"

Well of course, but they can tell us the name here. Why call us to the scene?
In any case it got me curious so I checked for previous samples. Want to know what I found?

I found all the samples we previously had missing. So of course I went and checked the logs for an explanation.
Each log we have shows the samples were either destroyed or contaminated.
In one instance rats ate the tissue, in another there were several dead spiders in the sample, while stranger still one of our own zombies here specifically ate a sample.
Now one or two instance I could overlook but not twenty-three. The of course there is the missing paperwork from all her biopsies. They are all missing. We have absolutely no paperwork she was ever here save for the logs of when her body was checked in and the logs of what happened to her blood and tissue samples.

Saph returns and takes a seat next to Crys. She shakes head sadly and her lip quivers as she tries not to cry.
"Try as I might, I couldn't find him anywhere. Someone said they thought he was around not so long ago, but it seems he's disappeared from Sigil completely."

Crys gives a nod and hugs Saph.
"You at least tried to fulfill her last wish. We put an add in the Sigis, but I'll pin up some flyers as well. We'll have the funeral at the end of the week."
A few hours later hundreds of flyers go up announcing that Emmy's funeral will be in one week. Each flyer has the marks of their patron gods. It will be held in Karasuthra, which happened to be one of Emmy's favorite places. All wishing to attend are welcome.

After Darremar had concluded his exchange in the central bazaar he made way down one of the avenues frequented by many. He paused when he noted a flyer that bore very distinctive markings that he had not seen in quite some time.
Upon reading the contents of the flyer he cursed in his native tongue. Then he turned about for the inn.

After being let into the room Darremar would see Emeraldin in her glass coffin. He would notice right away that there is a spark of something still left in Emeraldin and that she is not actually dead.

Some time after departing from the room that held the coffin, the Lai'Oo'ran made his way out into the streets of the cage with everything he had entered with save that amulet and prayer beads he has always been seen with.
He faded into the shadows of the alleys and obscurity for now...

The Guvner hin remained quiet over the happenings with her now deceased partner. She mourned the passing on her own away from the many visitors that came in and out of the apartment. Whenever confronted by people with questions she would simply shake her head and remain completely quiet.

//The following happened IG, I told all involved I would post this for simplicity.//
There is a knock on the door. A small redheaded halfling that some would recognize as Saphhira. She would stand aside to allow Darremar in. Saph would take him to see Emeraldin. Darremar looks from the coffin to Crystalis who has barely left the room.
Could this be the same Crystalis who a mere year ago believed her sister a candidate for death?
Darremar looked to the coffin to Crystalis, knowing her to be the oldest of the three Undren triplets. He walks to the coffin and reaches out for it. Crys makes a move to stop him and Saph puts a hand on her arm. Crys takes a seat and gives Darremar a nod. Opening the coffin, Darremar touches her neck. Immidately he is hit with a powerful and painful vision. He struggles to keep his footing but manages to do so. his eyes flutter in and then close as he leans forward taking in the vision rather athan resisting it.
Darremar know immediately that she is still alive, but barely. He sees Emmy talking to an unseen voice. There is a flash and Darremar shields his eyes from a bright, blinding powerful light. He knows this to be a transference of energy and the Emmy has given the majority of herself to aid her Patron. He's sees her essence poured into a jewel on a sword and the that Patron grows stronger as this happens.
"What?" Crystalis asks.
Darremar does not open an eye. He then removes his amulet. He leans in and says a prayer in his native tongue. It roughly translates to:
The hand of your sister is offered forth as a weapon to strike your foes from the depths.
Crystalis blinks in confusion as Darremar places the amulet in her hand and his eyes shoot open as he does so. Darremar then feels a sense of peace and calm knowing that what he has intended has come to pass.
"What happened? What did you say? Is everything alright?" Crys asks.
"I do believe everything will be. Soon." Darremar states.
"What do you mean?" Saphhira would ask.
"One way or another. All shall be as it should be before the week is up. More," he pauses, "More I dare not say until that day you wrote of."
"Is there anything we can do?" Crys asks.
"Pray. Mayhaps seek divine guidance. All is not as it appears on the surface. One way or another. by the timeof the funeral we shall know. Or at least we shall find cause to risk that venture back. It is the irony of fate that the Horopraeans were so verily far and few between as they held most in such ability."
Crystalis frowns, "She told me about her plan. About going back. Maybe we can give him additional warnings addition aid somehow."
Darremar's head is filled with a voice, one he recognizes immediately as his patron. 'You must go back, the Paradox is not complete. Crys must warn him, he must see what she sees. To do so any other way means death for us both.' The voice then goes quiet.
Darremar partly closes his eyes as he approaches Saph and Crys, "Then again it is perhaps a question that you already knew the answer to. Is that not true milady?"
Crys tilts her head obviously confused by the question, "Is what true?"
"Do you know the where and how of warning him?"
I know yes. Emeraldin shared it with me. We argued over it for days. I ... I was afraid for her," Crys' eyes well up.
"Yet you would go if the way were open?" Darremar gently prods.
"To save her," Crys pauses, "I would do almost anything."
"Then before this end gather those you feel would best aid. The way shall be opened. Although I daresay it shold come no later than the funeral itself. For now milady. I entrust that my mistress shall watch over her. I shall return only when it is time to make that way open."
Darremar turns to leave and Crys and Saph thank him. They bid him farewell and turn to prepare themselves for what is to come and to recruit potential fighters to aid them in this quest.
//I plan on doing an event IG on Saturday around two pm Central time. Crys may do some IG recruiting as well. This will be strictly a player event, people wishing to partake and just have a bit of RP fun are welcome to join us.//
