Rumor's heard about town

//ooc note this is meant to be fun I asked before posting. I have no issue with folks spreading rumors about shiv who started the whole mess. Also if you think of interesting rumors to post about your own characters or another with the players okay. Please add.
A few men at the bar having an ale when one sits down with some flowers and a ring. They exchange glances then look at him expecting an answer.
"Figured stop to have an ale to settle my nerves before I try to seek her hand like many others."
With a free ale, and a little coaxing the story continues.
"You two heard about that enchanter Vara aye? I heard she came to the cage leaving her groom to be at the altar. Was said the night before she sought a diviner to insure she made a wise choice."
Another free ale and he continues.
"Seems that she is cursed to only have male children and the man to be would slay her for he was actually unable to finish the deed so to speak. Poor heart broken lass only left to save her life, yet would bless a man with many sons. Now I just need to muster the courage to ask".
The man leaves the bar and fades into the shadows, a few blocks away returning back to his normal garb putting a gem into the helm so the eerie haze flows about.
"aye...some tings worse den death.....business tis business heh".
