Prologue, Prepairation and Conquest:
Korgus knew the rumors had to be yet another barmy excuse to humor his time. Some berks just never learned did they? Theres no such thing as a weapon that cant break.
But today his eyes were opened, in a way that left even the formidable engineer of destruction looking haunted by the sight.
He had gone to the lower layer of Androlynne to investigate the matter. It was there, in a great battle he saw a magnificent weapon wielded by an Eladrin lord. The weapon carved straight through entire legions of demons like paper, its eeire red glow contrasted the blue of the Eladrin's decorative robe.
It was magnificent to behold and horrifying.
He watched as the Eladrin charged, boldly into the melee, a hundred demons at his front and flank. Each one would try but none could kill him, none. Each time their weapons, claws, blades, abyssal tools of destruction designed to undoo the most fragile swords clanged with the blade, none could harm it. It wasnt even scratched.
There was an eeire beauty in the dance of destruction the Eladrin carved through his foes, yet it was not the good kind that Korgus enjoyed regularly. See, a Sinker has to remember that 'everything' must end in time, clearly, this weapon was far more formidable than it looked but surley it would give?
A mighty shadow dragon emerged admist the hordes of dying demons. It lunged itself forwards at the foe and swung straight at him.
Yes, Korgus thought, parry the blade, now we'll see how durable it really is. Yet to his horror, it endured the blow, still unscathed.
His jaw dropped in surprise, and the Shadow Dragon was equally shocked when the recoil sent "it" back instead of the wielder. Without hesitation, the blue robed Eladrin lunged forwards and peirced the foul beasts chest, tearing it outs black heart.
As the monster went down, magnificently no less, Korgus came to conclude foul play must be at work. The design of the blade was clearly contrary to a regular Eladrin weapon and he knew all too well what those fey loving ponces used as regular swordmanship, that was no Eladrin blade.
Concluding he had seen everything, he returned to Sigil, troubled.
Several Weeks Earlier:
Korgus shared a drink with the lovley namer Maegan. Pretty lass, if a tad modest for her looks, not that it mattered, she'd loose them in time anyway.
The two discussed the rumors whlie sharing a cake made of ale from a goblin chef, a master at crafting the alien foods Korgus clearly loved to try.
After the banter passed, Korgus explained to Maegan how her presense might be desired in the armoury and that she had been called for a task.
The girl was clearly confused, to his amusement, she obliged him with the request and went straight to the armoury to seek audience with the Doomguards second most important figure, Ely Cromlich.
Seducing the girl and sensing the power in her actions, Ely was clearly keen to put Maegan to the test. He had told her to make prepairations for a time he might call her again, to investigate the Abyssal Layer of Androlynne. Korgus rolled his eyes when he saw Maegan's seduced expression to Ely's toyful advances and even more so when The Artificer came to craft his work and make his place in the story.
Still, all the time his mind lingered on two things... what if these rumors of the blade were true? He doubted it, he always dismissed such things as child stories. It was healthy to know what was real and what wasnt in the abyss and an invincible blade simply couldnt exist.
...At least, thats what he hoped.
Present Day:
Having learned his lesson in humility, the Engineer knew too well that he needed to brauden his mind more often. Still, now that he had seen the sword for himself, it troubled him greatly.
When relaying the information to Ely Cromlich, it was not long before the Doomlord rallied the other Doomguard to his calling. It was time for the Sinkers to make their presense known.
Ely called in those who answered and told them to gather at Sigilian Midnight. There, he would explain the details of everything that would come before them.
He also explained to the same Sinkers to bring a friend or three, prefferably those who aernt too burdained by the fragile stability of law and order. He claimed that a great adventure was going to begin soon and that only the finest, the fittest and the most worthy would be able to embrace it to its fullest!
Korgus smiled... this was going to be an interesting day after all.

Chapter 1: The Means Of Madness
The adventure began with the rally of Ely Cromlich. His devious plan leaning into fruition the fiendblood set to work in sending his newfound mercinaries into the heart of madness.
Initially the explination of events went well untill he offered them an interogation of a prisoner. This rather traversial matter lead to an early abbandonment of one member, a quasi-undead woman whom was offered to the Harmonium and later freed by them for reasons unexplained.
The party interogated a young woman named Jezel, one of the Eladrin servants who had been captured by the Doomguard. She was questioned on her motives and our party came to learn that she had been sent by the Eladrin to procure the Sinkers infamous Entropic Blades, in order to purify them.
Evidently amused more than worried about this, Ely then had the group decide one of four possible means of entering the infamous realm of Androlynne. The group chose the moral path and went in persuit of an Eladrin emmissary in the civic festhall.
There, the emissary explained she did not trust them and as proof of their pure intentions she required them to show their hand by purchasing a potion that would allow the Eladrin woman to cure one of the injured Eladrin. The woman stressedclearly that only the potions influence could help.
The party interacted with a merchant in possession of the potion and purchased the affect with no quarrel. They then gave it to the greatful Eladrin who gave them the means to enter the infamous Androlynne.
There, they skirmished with a party of demons and aided a troop of Eladrin warriors turn the tide of battle. This was a short lived fight however, as the Eladrin were attacked by a mighty Balor, the group was forced to flee to a sanctuary city, the only one the Eladrin possessed in this warped land.
It is there their first chapter in this adventure ends, after meeting the consort of Queen Morwel, the Eladrin matriach, they were lead to a homley sleeping quaters, where our party now spends the night.
Dawn will tell what the adventure takes them to next.

Chapter 2: Sorrowful Sins and Malevolant Mayhem
The adventure continued with new and old faces as the layers shifted to accomidate the changes. The unquestioned consort of Queen Morwel had all but known it wasnt uncommon for stranger things to happen but it was best to simply accept what happened in the Abyss, never to question it.
The party then, meeting with the Queen, learned that the Eladrin had yet to see the nature of their goodness fully prooven. So, in order to test their nature a means of prooving themselves was needed.
Through this, Gwynharwyf, the left hand of Morwel's will instructed the party rather demandingly, to seek the Asura, Starbinder.
They were to go to the fel city of Pale Nights most influencial control in Androlynne and find the captured Starbinder. For she was a scout serving the Eladrin with alot of unquestioningly valueable information. Her word was too precious to be taken from her into the hands of the enemy.
It was in that time Morwel explained the terrible plight of the Eladrin. Their tradgedy in the loss of their generation of young and their triumph in successfully gaining a hold in Androlynne. She explained clearly, that in her moment of sullen weakness, she had a dark secret to tell in their victory.
It was this that appeared reletive to the fate of the blade that they all so eagerly craved for one reason or another. After a brief argument of opinions, the group reluctantly set out to proove themselves.
However, in order to reach the dark city in Androlynne's presense they would first have to cross the divide of the River Styx.
Two means were presented, the short root demanded finding a crossing amoung the battle-field, but it would require alot of conflict and the endangerment of life.
The second, was the long road through the Fen of Ill Odor, a horrid boglike swamp that spanned for a long traverse but offered an easier passing.
The latter option appealed to the band, whom ventured deep into the swamp. There, they heard echoes of an unknown demon, conversing with what sounded like the echo of the consort of Queen Morwel.
The party traveled north, into the swamps heart. Where they saw the crusified corpses of an Eladrin male and a female Alu-fiend. There, a mysterious Darkstalker taunted them with a riddling puzzle and a test.
The Drow An'aroluth surprised the creature by denying it its humor. Angered by her act, it demanded that she take what was necessary to leave the swamp and never return under pain of agony.
Of course that begs the question, what did it want in the first place? It demanded a corpse from the cruisified duo that it might feast on. It riddled with the party as to one of these two corpses being important for a certain device they would need to cross the Styx.
After learning that it was the corpse of the Alu-fiend that was the key, they headed north per guidance of the Darkstalkers instruction. There, they found what it had spoken of, a Ship of Chaos.
Reluctantly, they fed the device the corpse it required. Devouring the remains of the Alu-fiend while keeping the Eladrin's corpse safe from a worse fate than death.
With the Ship of Chaos restored the Doomguard built vessel, growled angrily, but reluctantly allowed them passage... untill one little halfling, Alanna, stepped onboard.
Her gentle hand and her neferious soul, intregued the creature. So much, that the Ship itself submit to her will, and allowed her to steer it, for now, it contently obayed her, and remains to this point her willing servant.
For how long that remains to be seen, but for now, the party traveled over the river, to the edge of Pale Nights realm.
There, they saw the dark city.
There, the story shall continue.

Chapter 3: Salvation leads to Service
The heroes ventured into the city under the guise of slavers and slaves. Their access was not easy, as the demanding Nabassu stole away one whom was branded with the markings of the infernal though the others were not so difficult to recieve welcome.
The one in question was taken to the dungeon wherein they met the Asura in question. Soon enough, the others arrived to bring the 'slaves' to their delivery point which was rather ironically the exact same dungeon.
There, they spoke to Starbinder as one. Whom told them that she refused to leave the dungeon untill the Eladrin girl Lilel was safe. They were extremely hesitant, but they heeded Starbinders elegant plan.
They would trade excessivly, for the right town an Eladrin child after expressing elaborate interest in purchasing one. Then they would bring the girl to Starbinder, where they would somehow consider their next plan of action.
The intial phase went well, untill selflessly, one of the group shape-shifted into Granite Stonejaw. The selfless hero offered himself to the enemy as a sacrifice in return for the girl. The rest of the heroic party were forced to play along and pose Granite as a selfless slave.
After a heavy tenthousand jink price paid by Saiph, they finally retrieved Lilel. To their surpise the child was surpisingly mature for her attitude and age. She seemed to have wisdom far beyond her time.
Hells know how long she had been in Androlynne, but one could think centuries.
It was here, that the heroes rallied and made their escape on the Ship of Chaos, which seemingly dissappeared not long afterwards.
They then returned to Queen Morwel, who congradulted them of their victory. But only to reveal a shocking secret of the origin of the Doom Herald. The weapon was forged in te consumated seduction of a possessed Eladrin and an Alu-fiends love-child. Their larval spawn was the casing for the corruption of an Eladrin Light-blade and its unholy form has fed on the victims that is to say, demons ever since.
The heroes wanted the blade, but Faerwinaal would request of them one final task in order to earn the blade.
They would lay seige to a corrupted sanctuary that was once a fortress to the Eladrin. This area would give a significant holding over the northern bank and possibly even give the Eladrin time to compleatley reconquer Androlynne from Pale Night.
As dusk fell, the heroes would need rest, for the Eladrin began making prepariations for the seige of the unholy fortress.
It was time to ready the people of light, for war.

Finale Of Part 1: The Betrayal Of Light
At the rallying of Faerinaal's call the heroes mustered against the forces of evil. They were assigned to find a backdoor into the fortress that was being laid seige to whlie the King and his champions pushed through the front.
They were to meet Faerinaal's servant Karasel. After waiting for the battle to begin however, with no sign of her, they met her familiar Twilight instead, who had claimed Karasel was in deep trouble.
Their venture took them north into the mountains into a ruined Eladrin outpost. There, they saw some of the horrors of Pale Nights many delightful breeding pits. Whereby many Eladrin corpses were used to feed the demonic hordes reproductive cycles.
They were quick to put that to a stop, discovering Karasel about to be thrown to her death to an abyssal maw. They thwarted the Hezrou guards and drove out the demonic forces where by the troop separated in twine.
The smaller of the group, ventured with Twilight to stop the madness of the Abyssal Breeding Ground. They found their way into the lair of an Obylith monstrocity, an adult Elkoid that had been using the Eladrin for breeding its eggs.
After a brief skirmish the creature was felled and the Eladrin freed, at last, some hope was restored.
Returning to the larger group, the two forces finally entered via a teleportation spell the fortress interior. There, they went further down into the depths and faught a giant maw upon the roof which devoured a skeletal familiar before they bested it.
With the victory at hand, they were challanged then by an Eladrin Puzzle system to enter the lower part of the fortress. Earlier, explained to by Karasel, this part of the fortress served as the portal gate allowing Eladrin forces to reinforce the area. It had been overrun by demons and their corruption had warped the gate in the demons favour.
They had chosen not to go to aid Faerinaal's direct advance but rather to cut off the demons reinforcements. And so, after a boggling unlocking sequence they finally went into the antichamber of the building.
Their first test was a battle against their very depression. Only one of them managed to overcome this, using a mysterious means, to overpower the spell. One wonders what price they paid to overthrow the influence of the depression and what would become of them as a consequence?
Next, our group encountered an Alu-fiend who attempted to barter their most devote Elistreean for their passage. The Elistreean ruthlessly surpised the creature with a brutal blow to the chest. However, before its felling it had explained a most sinister truth to the group.
The Eladrin had orchestrated this war in the first place, and only after the forbidden pact of Queen Morwel's previous consort and Pale Night was the crisis of the Eladrin Children a true motive for their invasion of the abyss. But it had been clear from the start, the Eladrin had been too greedy and ambitious, in trying to take the abyss, the abyss, had taken them.
They moved on into the portal chamber, where they were briefly halted by the advance of a Lilitu. It was humilatingly slain by a slingshot to the face, followed by a swift impalement. Not long after, the group was confronted by the source of evil, the corrupted portal.
Some hesitated, some fell to its temptation but inevitably, it was purified by the forces of good. The power once more restored, Faerinaal entered the portal with his servant Gwynharwyf, and congradulated the heroes on a task well done.
He wanted them to witness the glorious moment the sword would finally forfil its dark purpose for a higher cause. He had told them, that he believed the blade would be the key to purifying Androlynne of all demonic taint. They watched in awe as he stuck the portal with the Doom Herald blade. And in horror he saw that his mistake had already been made.
The demon, Orcus, reached out with two hands, the first, grasping the blade, the second, dislodging it from Faerinaal's reach as the demons arms vanished with the blade.
The group all looked dumbstruck in horror as did the Eladrin, as a grim explination was finally revealed.
Faerinaal, had made a pact with Demon Lord Orcus, in return for the blade. He had not anticipated, the demon would take it for himself.
Crushed, by his foolishness, his moment of glory stolen was made worse by a showdown between the heroes and an Infernal invasion force, lead by a Drow General.
The battle was a swift one... and the Drow, was finally slain by two he had wronged in the past. Of which only one had the killing blow honors, as the other let the moment unfold. A third, also wronged by General Varshartas, watched in silent delight. All of the heroes, seemed content with the drows demise.
The scene ended with Queen Morwel's arrival. She announced her appologies, for decieving them and for betraying them. She announced their part in Androlynne was now over, and the blade had now found its way to a new home.
It was time, for a trip to the hells.
Now, The concluding chapter of this mad adventure, begins.

Chapter 4: It All Begins To Unfold
The tale began with a report to Factotum Ely Cromlich in present affairs. It was clear that the presense of The Unbreakable Blade had been confirmed but as to where? It was time for some answers.
The 'heroes' had reconfigured their ranks into something more effective for their roster. The Doomguard clearly chose figures who were far from distracted by moral impedement. Those figures would serve as the catalyst of events to soon unfold.
The group traveled to the nine hells, more specifically, the ever shifting city of dis. There, they met the aspect of Dispater himself, whom, to say the least, was very displeased by certain members of the group, responsible for the death of his general Varshartas.
Rather than punishing them directly however, he amused a cruel game where by their Doomguard Champion, Fae, already known by the nine hells as a former Pactsworn, was to point out those who were involved in the murder of the general including herself.
In response to the action, Dispater, rather than punishing Fae directly, punished those who were innocent of the crime. After all, the devil knew all too well that his enemies were better kept bitter in each others company than unified against himself.
After binding several of the group to his service. He assigned the gleeful Fae and her accomplice Alenna to enter a rift in the city of dis. This rift had been torn open by an abyssal means. When Dispater had tried to have the matter investigated, the rift had been left mysteriously open. It lead straight into the plane of Androlynne, more specifically the great mountain above it, where Pale Night watched her armies below.
Heading into the portal, the group found Pale Night and her soldiers were nowhere to be seen. The area was loitered in great holes that lead into the infinite maze layer of the abyss. One of these great holes stood out.
One of the group, a disciple of Queen Morwel, Kokoro, was drawn to the hole. She had felt recently betrayed by the Queens willing allignace to demons after she had sworn herself to her in order to be rid of their influence. She was the first to enter the great pit, as it consumed her thoughts, feeding on her doubt.
Next, Fae assigned the branded servants to scale down the wall with her... along the way, one of them, a Red Wizard dispelled her enchantments and left her to fall to her doom. Fae fell screaming into the pit while her companion Alenna did nothing.
The group then became seperated. The Branded ones were put before Pale Nights front gate and forced to battle their way through large groups of her forces and attend other events of their own while the unbound part of the group were placed before Pale Night herself.
Amoung them were four, Kokoro, Alenna, Fae and Willow. Each were displayed an event in time and their lives that would become defining moments of everything that had transpired to this point.
They all began to understand that there was more to this conspiracy than made sense, a cycle, a destiny of events was all comming to unfold, and soon, it would lean upon them all.
Each, were by Pale Night, blessed with four questions... and of the four, one, Kokoro was chosen specifically by her, for a most terrible transformation.
The Mother of Demons, delighted in conquering a disciple of her Eladrin nemesis, turned the woman inside out and tore the very humanity from her. Rebirthing her a something else... something, truley twisted.
To Willow, she gifted knowladge, and a means to finally bring her sister to her, to... win, her sister to her control.
To Fae, she granted a means, possibly the only means she would ever get, of turning one she loved to her own state of delusional madness.
To Alenna, she gave only the insight of knowladge necessary to complete their task.
The branded arrived, in the midst of Kokoro's horrific transformation as her humanity was literally torn apart by her birthed inner demon. The creature quickly fed on its own former husk, and tore free from itself, abbandoning the sanity of good forever.
Chaos, broke into its fullest form, as the branded faught Fae for a device, a rod of control given to her by dispater. Willow faught the assassin Verion, the Goblin Cookie faught Fae and Alenna. After the skirmish reached an Apex, the impatient Pale Night finally lost her temper and as Verion attempted to strike down Willow she saved the Unseelie's life.
She looked wrathfully at the man, and in an instant, infused him with all the horrors of his childhood. He was reduced to a whimpering mass and soon after, she turned on the others.
Cookie, she freed from his brand, the goblin wanting no part in events was let free of no further question.
Loroka was freed, and decided to stay for the finale of events as answers were finally given to their questions.
They learned that their answers would lie in Stygia, and that the Prince Levistus, knew everything.
Orcus involvement was insignificant after all. They were right to have focused their attention to the nine hells.
And so, Pale Night sent them back, telling them their final cruade had begun. The answers were comming and the madness was almost over.
But... the fable is not yet finished...

Chapter 5: From Chaos To Order
Ely Cromlich called to draw the new Emissaries of Doom to the final quest to destroy the blade. Of many who came with the promise of opportunity, only four remained passionate enough to make the final venture.
Two returning figures, Tyria and the Serpant Agkistrodon were ready to bring this series to its ending journey accompanied by Chardon and Illearn.
The four champions chosen. Their first journey lead them to Pazunia the layer of infinite portals in the Abyss. There, through a loophole in the layer they managed to take a Ship of Chaos into Stygia.
Their journey was a hazardous and difficult treck. They were assaulted by ice devils displeased at their rude invasion of their home layer. The Devils were rapidly dispatched, unhindered they had time to admire the scenery of the dark waters of Stygia.
On their way, Tyria, Illearn and Agkistrodon took peices of the Stygian icebergs that floated passed by request of Ely Cromlich. Only Chardon felt repulsed at the act, knowing very well what the ice had been forged from and what its intended purpose was for.
Their pilot, The Engineer Korgus, was amused by the entire journey. He sailed them straight into the heart of the great city of Tantlin.
There, they decided that they would need to investigate further by aquiring a legitimate means to find out where the blade may be hidden.
They went to the commerance district, there, the tale shall continue.
