Across the Cage, the Propaganda Holograms of The Athar have been placed in every nook and cranny The Lost could place them, all of them displaying and repeating this same message spoken by Factor Anastaria, a dark turqoise clerical robed woman who kept her hood over her eyes:

"The Athar...
The Lost...
The Defiers, of The Powers themselves.

Some call us heretics, some, call us enlightened. Some call us sinners some, call us saints.

For long, we have stood in the shadow of events in the cage, uninvolved, undirected, uninterested. But now it is our hour to shine in the light.

Your children stand on a future where the powers loom over our heads for eternity, do you want a future where your children fear false gods forever? Where they cry in their beds praying for protection? Where they sell their souls to divines for self-indulgant reprive?!

No! No more of this nonsense! It is time for the uneducated to be given true trancendance and understand just what a REAL Power reprisents and what it can and will do!

Our task is a long one, a tedious conquest across the Planes one by one ridding them of the powers that control them. But powers have faiths and faiths have churches, worshippers, followers.

There are some, who would even indulge in the beliefs of these false powers and their divine control of the multiverse. There are some who sell themselves like jinkshirts in the street to the very prime gods to the nightmarish abyssal sires! They are the true heretics here! They are the true monsters!

The Athar know, cutters, we know well and how do we know? Ill tell you.

We can bring divinity without any aid from prayers or favouratism. We can give you that understanding, make men into masters of their own destinies! We have the power, the wisdom and the quality of workmanship to show you how "powerful" the "Gods" really are.

Join us cutters, join us today and enlist in our glorious crusades. We reprisent the only true force of divine understanding in the multiverse itself, we are the only true understanding of The Great Unknown. We know more of its intentions, of its plan for this multiverse than any brainwashed blood of his or her false deity could ever grasp!

The Great Unknown you ask? Why, it is the true god, the only true force that created these "fakers" these "liars" those powers who decieve you into believing they are genuine deities. They are frauds! All of them! They flee and hide from the cages mightiest champion and most terrifying force. You know of who I speak, I need not say "her" name!

Is that not the proof?! If these mighty deities are so mighty?! Why are they so flawed? If they are invincible why can they be killed, even replaced?

The answer is, they are not the true god, they are not The Great Unknown. Only we know what the great unknown desires and what it reprisents...

Granted, The Godsmen, our favoured allies also study insight into its wisdom, but they use it to acend to divinity that we thus proove in the making is a lie!

Gods are a lie! Divinity is a lie! Join us and be free of these powers once and for all by ridding them from the multiverse, now, and forever!

Join The Lost Crusade!

We... need... you...

Be you sinner, or saint.

Be you heretic, or holy.

We, need you."

Tick... tock... tick... tock...

The clock in Anastaria's room moved like a slow pendulum as outside her office she heard the door open. Chastarte walked through vulpturously before locking the door and confronting Anastaria.

"Are you outta your mind?" She began: "your little swords for hire are wacking my Unseelie like flies and I thought we were partners in this matter?"

Anastaria smirked reassuringly and offered her a glass, Chastarte took it, sipping wine slowly. "You should have expected this, The Athar dont take lightly to priests... especially not those devoted to powers, such as your friends."

"Our, friends." She reminded her. "You set this matter up remember? Your the one who got us both into each respective faction and now you expect me to just muster up a miracle and save my ass? It doesnt work that easy tuts, I need a hand, help me out here."

Anastaria looked at her queerly. "War fairing badly in your favour? I thought you had mercinaries of your own?"

"Yeah well I was never the good one with words or long-term benefits, thats your A.O.E dollface, now tell me how the heck you plan on fixing this." Chastarte protested her point.

Anastaria took a sip of wine in turn, looking outside her courtyard, her view was beautiful, a clam shell balcony with several pillared arches looking over all the Shattered Temple, she looked down over the refugee camps and gathering troops.

"We do need each other Chastarte, worry not, I have plans to fix this. As a matter of fact im already developing them as we speak..."

"I heard you left quite a bloody trail with that, you sure your not trying to play cat and mouse, not a fun game to play when your ass is on the line."

"True, dont worry about that matter, it only goes to show that we, benevolant Athar, are certainly the cities best interests and when we proove our innocence and show our hand..." She sipped her wine placing the glass down on a fine polished mahogony table upon the balcony, where two polished mahogony chairs lay beside it. She sat upon one. "...The city will trust us, the Harmonium will be prooved incapable of running the cage anymore and thats when... we take over."

A smirk formed on Chastarte's lips, as she took the other seat, plonking her boots onto the table, leaning on two legs of the chair.

"You got it pretty planned out then? So whats next?"

"Next?" She smiled. "Next, we wait and toast to the benefits of patience. Have your Unseelie return to the Feywar and lay low for a while, gather your troops, keep your pressure on the Seelie where you can, you'll see where this is going, soon enough."

"Just... dont get me into trouble too quickly? I got alot hanging on this bet, The Prolongers... you know? This Well is our mealticket to immortality..."

Anastaria chuckled as she looked at the reflection of her face in the wine. "Yes... immortality..." Her eye flashed red as she grinned calmly.
