Taking care of two orphan girls it was a silly idea.. But Kala had to go through it because she made a promise. While she wasn't the kind of person to make a lot promises, she always honored them.
Kala was a retired fiend hunter, she had confronted the creatures of the abyss and especially Baator many times and it was quite easy to state that she knew something about monsters. As a druid she also knew something about baby animals and their mischief, but nothing had prepared her to face the true terror of taking care of human children... Or at least, that was what she though during the first days. The girls where so full of mischief, so impossible to reason with, she couldn't just tell them to sit somewhere and be calm, and if they where, then the rain of questions started. While it was legitimate to be curious, she soon found out that she had a two little inquisitors.
Kala loathed her promise for a long time, she was a bit angry and distant at times, but she persisted as the girls needed to be cured, she hoped she could bring them back and give them a new start. As she continued to take care of them, she slowly started to remember to be nice, softening her edges. One day the girls noticed a sudden change of personality, Kala was all sudden very understanding and patient, she acted more like a grand sister or a mother, and that behavior persisted, to become routine.
Soon she presented the girls her friend Alsandra, and told them she'd like to bring them elsewhere for some "vacations". She hoped that the girls mind would slowly appease as they witnessed the wonders of the planes. The first destination was the air plane. Using her most patronizing tone, Kala told the girls to be very careful and follow both the druid and wizard's instructions. Once they stepped out of the portal, the girls could notice that Kala seemed to be right at home and happier than she ever way, while they probably had some run flying across the plane, Kala planned to stay for a few days at a Jinn citadel.

As she lectures them Kala would notice one of them mimicking her words and her words in an exaggerated strict tone. Should she tell the one of them off the the other one would begin doing it.
They are cautious at first on the plane of air their usual inquisitiveness tempered by a healthy dose of fear. They seem to react better to better to her when she is less strict. Soon they arrive at the citadel it sits a top a dark heavy cloud, the spire of it rising up to a height that would be impossible on a prime world particularly as it is so thin and made of tempered glass.

As Kala noticed them mocking at her attempt to lecture them she changed tactics. Telling them about some of the dangers of the air plane, while trying to reassure them every time.
Once they reached the citadel she made all the disposition to be sure they got a proper place to rest. Then she asked the girls
- So misses... I've no plans for today as I expected the travel to take longer, what would you like to see ?
