Dear Sir(s) and/or Ma'am(s)
I'll keep this short:
What you need: Healers
What I can offer: Basic healing services ranging from trauma to major common diseases to poisonings.
What you don't need: Gangbangers in the Hive taking up your beds and your healers' time with their never-ending clashes.
What else I can offer: To take them off of your hands, heal them, and get the Weary Spirit Infirmary a little bit of jink support while at it, and make it more expensive for the gangs to be violent.
How do I do this?
1) I take a small room in the Infirmary specially reserved for gang-related injuries
2) A very small, uniform flat rate is charged (you can decide on the rate) for my services. The message to the gangbangers is: you can still get healing for your violence, but it's not free.
3) I keep some of the proceeds for myself as salary, and give some of them to the Weary Spirit in exchange for their hospitality.
4) The next time, gangs will think twice about fighting.
Let me know what you think.

A reply follows.
wrote: Hello Kali,
Thank you for your letter! I'm an assistant of the healer May'thrae. She's currently preoccupied and was unable to send you a direct response, so I'm writing to you in response.
The Weary Spirit is a non-profit neutral party. To invite a policy that charges people in order to be treated goes against our belief that all should be able to come to the Weary to seek treatment without fear of discrimination. It doesn't matter what faction you are in, we will remain neutral and cure the sick and tend the injured. Our neutrality is very important to us for a number of reasons, so I unfortunately have to decline your request.
Please feel free to stop by our infirmary any time and see what we are all about. We would be happy to see you!
Warmest regards,
Khari Anoway

After introducing herself to Khari and Melite (who shortly departed after her arrival), Kali begins her first night of work at the Weary Spirit Infirmary with Ephelil, going around the chamber and looking for supplies, as well as formulating contingencies for overflow of patients if it happens.
No serious cases arrive and the night passes more or less quietly. She updates the census with the minor cases she's healed so far, then departs, exhausted, for home, ready to arrive the next night to offer healing services.

Kali wasn't alone that night as there were a handful of Hivers that regularly volunteered at the Weary Spirit in exchange for food and a warm place to sleep.
Khari arrived a few hours after she had left, carrying a sack of freshly bought food and medicine she was able to collect as donations or purchased some from the market in the Great Bazaar.
She helped with the remainder of the night's work, thanking Kali for her services before closing down the soup kitchen side of the infirmary.
"This was great. Thanks for your time, Ms. Kali. Hope to see you around here again soon."
