- "So, dead?"
- "Yes, that Hildmor, despite of being a wizard was a leatherhead. Such a thing couldnt be preplanned, anyway".
- "Yes. His torn fingers and clothers are the proof that he couldnt get away. He even didnt have a spellbook with him there, I doubt he could survive. Dead".
- "Dead. Fill it out then, Guvner".

A conversation between a Harmonium Measure and a Guvner of unknown rank, three days after Hildmor wandcaster was thrown in Carceri...But this day, the white haired mage laughs.

Back at the courthouse, around a hallway, down a corridor, past a doorway, behind a bookshelf, and wading up to elbows in applications, stood the inscrutable Aide McCormick.

Cullpepper McCormick was a short, chubby Halfling with unruly red hair and vivid green eyes. He tapped the file in his hand with piece of half-eaten biscuit, letting the crumbs roll onto his loafers. He frowned.

"What a shame." The file in his grasp was at least an inch thick and covered all over with memos of approval from various Administrators, all of them interested in sending invitations to the "potential hire" detailed within.

But that man was now dead.

The file snapped closed as Cullpepper stuffed the last of the biscuit into his mouth, then tossed the paperwork in with the rest to be shredded.

With Hildmor dead, word spreads among the Dustmen that the deceased's personal family should be formally contacted.

A notice is placed on an errands board, requesting that any Dustmen on travel through the city please sign the duty roster if they are interested in helping. Duties include:

2) Informing the Fated of Hildmor's passing so that any remaining dues to the city may be paid.
3) Collecting the man's body (if available) for proper cremation.
4) Gathering Hildmor's personal information, plus date and cause of death, so that these details may be recorded in the Mortuary records.
