Yes, Rhistel had been on the edge, and yes, he had also been very paranoid in the latest hours, if not for the entire day. Maybe even more than his usual, but this time he had a reason to.
A valid one, anyway.
He hadn't felt like going out much, and being unable to be at his home as the Harmonium was still busy turning every single stone in his property upside down, he had just ended up closing himself inside his inn room at Muriel's.
It wasn't going to help his morale, Neerepha had warned him, in fact, it only worsened his situation, and when she invited him to take a walk around the Bazaar, in the end, he just declined.
Wasn't going to stop her to do so herself, anyway. She had been keeping him company for the whole time, and he knew she needed to be outside and distract herself a little instead of just staying in that room with him.
It was the Bazaar, afterall. What could happen?
Everything, apparently.
When she didn't come back after two hours, he still tried to be positive.
She said she was going to come back in a hour, true, but still, she could have met someone, being chatting at Khazeet... everything.
When the hours became three, being positive started to be nearly impossible to him, so he just decided he was going to get out and check for himself.
He grabbed his cloak and walked out of the inn.
At that point, he was nearly not caring anymore about his whole hate for that crowded place, and against everything he had ever done in his whole life, he just started approaching every one and single merchant that he met in his way, not to mention people Neerepha could actually know among the regulars there, and asking them if they had seen her.

He is met with some strange stares and a little unease. The population of the Bazzar unused to seeing the great and the good of the Fated wandering around like this. People are generally helpful though. He is well known and it does not hurt to have a powerful man think well of you.
Shez tells him that he saw her going to Khazeets bar. The Efreet when asked says she was indeed there for a bit but she went over to the herbalist. When questioned Layla would tell him she was heading over to Shale. And Shale.... Shale does not know. She was there. She spoke to him and then she left she didn't say where she was going.
Just as the trail grows cold Rhistel feels something tugging on the back of his robe. He'd turn around to find the culprit is a small unwashed boy.
"'scuse me sir. But I saw the Gensai."

Leaving a small fee to everyone that was able to give him informations and apparently uncaring about the merchants reactions, he quietly followed each of the directions received, until finding himself in a dead end as the armourer had no clue where she could have gone after talking to him.
He was almost thinking about resorting to divination, when the kid approached him.
He turned to look at the small figure, examining him for a moment before replying.
"You saw her?" Where? And When?" He asked, forcing himself to keep his tone quiet despite the growing frustration, as to not scare the possible source of informations.

A thin veil of insubstantial and mostly translucent mist would shadow Rhistel as he went around the Bazaar and as he questioned the merchants.
As the the Paranoid and perhaps Worried Wizard stalked around seeking answers, the haze would creep into the mans attire, taking the time to mask itself perfectly within his Shirt, Pants and Cloak. Even going to the lengths to seep into the very fabric of the material.
The Wizards long term companion and Personal Reaper would remain within his person Indefinitely. Watching, Listening... and Waiting as they searched for the third member of their entourage.

Not only because of the usual weather he had grown accustomed to living in the Cage, and that made him glad everyday for the many layers of clothes he was used to wear, but also because in his current state of mind the focus on his person was almost absent, the slight sense of oppression the Harbinger of Nerull usually brought upon him completely obfuscated by the growing anxiety.

The boy looks up at the man and the strange misty cloud that seems to seep into his clothes. He says nothing about it though, this is Sigil and he seems to be a born cager.
"I saw her a few hours ago. Just over there."
He points to a spot a few meters away.
"I bought her a note from Mr Nine at the warehouse. I know she went to see him straight away as she asked me to go with her, but I had to say no as I had more letters to deliver."

He turns around toward the Merkhant warehouse, and stares at it for a moment.
The violin. She was expecting its delivery, but it was supposed to be at their home... of course, the Harmonium was still there so they probably had failed...
It was then that Hograth's small construct reached for him with the message the Measure sent him.
The officers in his house were clear. That should be a good news, but he really couldn't focus on that right now.
He turned to the boy again, handing him a cog coin for his informations, then asked the Drone to record a message in reply to Hograth, sending it back to the barracks.
Once done he hastily headed toward the Warehouse, taking time to stop only to speak with the Ogre dealing in Runes, asking him the same questions he had asked over and over.
She had to walk that way to reach the warehouse, and if she came back, she still probably would have taken that same road.

He stares at the open portal in front of him, still reacting at the key he keeps on himself, and snarls in frustration.
He wasn't going to follow that little piece of scrap in there. He couldn't right now.
He turns around and walks back to the main room of the warehouse, facing the remaining workers, and stares at them with cold anger.
"I am afraid we'll need to have a chat now that your master has left."

The Duodrone disappears into Mechanus probably to count its lucky stars, or to count whatever Duodrones have instead of lucky stars.
Back in the warehouse the foreman sits on the floor head between his knees recovering from the spell. One of the teamsters who seems to be older than the rest the one who dissuaded his companion from attacking Rhistel earlier speaks.
"I'm not exactly sure what happened but I'll try to help you."
((Going to ease up on posting until this evening to give Nerull a chance to catch up, but by all means reply to what is above.

Kapaneus keeps a low profile throughout the entire ordeal. Expending his energy in his Gaseous State to take in the area as Rhistel moves along [Base Search of 29, Active Search].
As Rhistel gets into the confrontation with the Man in front of the Warehouse, the Nerullite is tempted to move at the possibility of Bloodshed but miraculously controls himself, pondering ahead at possible unforeseen consequences of revealing himself if they were being watched.
While a possible hint of nostalgia would gnaw at the Reaper, due to his experiences with Rhistel and Neerepha, the Vampire keeps whatever possible emotion these thoughts would convey in check.
He would take note of where the Duodrone fled however, a mild temptation to cross over and after the construct quickly becoming a fleeting notion as Rhistel turns his attention back to those present.
Still present, but still hidden. The Vampire would wait until his card would need to be drawn or if Rhistel was placed in Danger.
