Brogar: Is that . . . snow?

Mir Fnar: Ash.

Brogar Bellbreaker: What is going on?

Mir Fnar: *nods toward the human-shaped pile of dust/ash.*

Mir Fnar: One of the results which culprits I am seeking, as per the picture I drew.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Ah.

Brogar Bellbreaker: I am training in the arts of remaining hidden and tracking while at it.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Am trying. [to find them]

Mir Fnar: Ah good, that might well come needed skill set.

Mir Fnar:*crosses her arms behind her back* - a bit of a puzzle, wouldn't you say?

Brogar Bellbreaker: More than a bit.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Hmm. I am having an idea.

Mir Fnar: *nods* - do tell?

Brogar Bellbreaker: What would ~I~ do to so suddenly kill a vampire?

Brogar Bellbreaker: Buy an undeath's ruin weapon.

Brogar Bellbreaker: A powerful one.

Brogar Bellbreaker: [Talk] Or . . .

Brogar Bellbreaker: *digs in a bag*

Mir Fnar: *taps her chin* - mmhmm.

Brogar Bellbreaker: [Talk] Or one of these. [shows wooden sword]

Mir Fnar: *quirks a brow* - huh... well, yes.

Brogar Bellbreaker: *shrugs*

Brogar Bellbreaker: In addition . . .

Brogar Bellbreaker: Vampires require silver to breach their skin.

Brogar Bellbreaker: So an undeath's ruin, silver weapon.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Then a wooden stake to finish the job.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Such a weapon would require commission.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Possibly.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Could not hurt to discreetly ask around.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Holy water too.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Things bought in bulk.

Mir Fnar: *muses* - true. You'd be more inconspicious to ask questions tho than me.

Brogar Bellbreaker: A moment . . .

Brogar Bellbreaker: The thing that is most true wherever one goes, is that the most reliable records are tax records.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Do you have connections in the Takers? I do not.

Mir Fnar: *ponders* - I can ask around.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Thinking of other things . . .

Mir Fnar: Ay?

Brogar Bellbreaker: You can not afford to miss. Potions of True strike.

Brogar Bellbreaker: Yes.

Brogar Bellbreaker: And since he might have thought of all this.

Mir Fnar: Mhmm.

Brogar Bellbreaker: I will ask my mercenary friends in the Hive ward as to if someone bought these things through a proxy.

Mir Fnar: Grand - *smiles*

Brogar Bellbreaker: *sneezes*

Brogar Bellbreaker: *looks about and locates some bottles with alcohol within. He takes several, and tries sipping from one of them*

There seem to be no tracks to be found. The empty bottles reek of homebrewed alcohol. Some potent stuff, too.

Gregory sniffed about the bodies in his worg form, then reported to Mir that the scent was identical to that of the loud bigoted man wandering the bazaar. The odor was pungent and unmistakable. Fortunately, Gregory knew, having delivered it to the harmonium himself, that Mir had drawn a very accurate illustration.

They had a suspect and the harmonium had his picture.
