The sound of heavy metal boots echo throughout the lady's ward and the Lower ward as a datatchment of 30 Harmonium namers march in perfect tandem with each other.
At the formations right hand side marches a single tall Harmonium soldier with white trimmings on his spiked armor, the markings on the armor identify him as a senior notary of the 34th Battallion.

Notary: 1!....2!....3!....4!.....1!.....2!....3!.....4! Come on ladies keep the rythme! 1!.....2!.....3!.....4! Formation!....Leeeffttt HUT!

The Various citizens on the streets stop up to watch the formation march by, with the Notary barking orders at the Namers.

As the formation marches on towards the Hive ward, passing through the Lower ward they keep getting the stink eye from some of the local scum in the streets.

Notary: Formatiooooonnnnn!!!!! HALT! Squad leaders on me!

With that Order 3 Harmonium namers leave the formation and gather around the Notary.

The Notary stands in council with his senior Namers, Issueing them their orders and alertness level.

Notary: Squad 1 you will be incharge of secureing and holding the entrence to the slags aswell as patrolling the area around both the slags and the gatehouse entrence.
Squad 2 you will have the area around Morturary and the Infirmary.
Squad 3 you will be Guarding the acess to the lower ward aswell as assiting the other two squads with their objectives.

Your mission briefing is as follows.

Due to the recent string of break-in's in the hive and the clerks ward Two Platoons have been assigned to reinforce the current standing forces in the Clerks ward and the Hive ward. Mission parameters are to detain and search anything out of the ordinary.
Be it a person that doesnt seem to fint in, a suspicious house and so forth. Use of Lethal Force is to be kept to a bare minimum and only used in emergencies such as attempts on your own or your comrades lives aswell as attempts on civilian lives.

Notary Harrisons Platoon will be securing the clerks ward and we will be on call incase his people need assistance.

I will regularly patrol between each of your assigned stations.

The Notary looks at the Three Namer Squad leaders...

While on his rounds, Shamus noticed the column of troops making their way into the area of the Hive and stood to watch them. He was dressed in his full armored uniform (his Measure ranking displayed on his shoulders) and accompanied by two other notaries. He didnÂ’t interfere with the unit unless (or until) they crossed the main street into his own patrol territory, which was covered by Outpost Five. Should that occur, he would call them to a halt, preventing their movement into that logistical territory (a large swath of the inner Hive) and motion for the Notary to approach. Should they respect the already laid out patrol boundaries and not venture into that zone, he would leave the large unit to its own devices and continue on his way.

*The namers chant back simultaneously with a firm salute. They seem to await to be dismissed or receive further instructions*

The Notary looks at the Namers on last time, and then returns their salute dismissing them so they can carry on with their orders.

The Notary then approaches the Measure that called him over and snaps a salute.

Vale: Notary 3 Vale Reynolt Sir!. You wished to speak with me?

Shamus gives a salute (more out of it being a technicality than anything else – kind of like an instinctive motion of the hand) and holds out his other hand to see the orders the Notary would be holding. He speaks as he looks them over, reading them thoroughly.

“As you were, Notary.

Raynolt is it?” tapping the name on the orders “Aren’t you supposed to be watching over the drunks in the Market instead of getting your boots dirty here? No matter, you’re here now so I just want to make a few things clear. See that area right there?” he circles an area on the map with his finger “That area is under the patrol watch of Outpost Five… my outpost. While I don’t mind the offer for help, it needs to go through me before more boots end up on those streets. Last thing I need is a hornets nest to be stirred up due to, what is it… break and enters?” He taps the order line as he states it.

“So long as your men and women respect the patrol boundary of my command, I think the peace can be maintained deeper in where my men and women currently patrol.

We clear?”

As he says the last line, he hands the orders back to Vale waiting for a response

The Notary nods to the Measure.

Vale: Ofcourse. We have not been assigned to Outpost Five's area and we are currently only here to maintain peace in this part of the hive while Second platoon conduct their patrols in the Clerks ward.

And yes this is in response to the string of very violent break in's thats been occurring lately, with several fatalities as a result.

I have been told there is a special investigations unit tasked with finding the culprits, but i do not know more then that.

The Notary looks at the officer awaiting his response...

Shamus would give a professional smile and a respectful nod

“Good to hear, son… good to hear. Last thing we need in this cesspool is some overzealous ladder climber pissing in the wrong pots, hm? Not that I need to worry about you being of such.

You need anything from us, you simply call out. There’s more than enough hardened cutters under my command who’d be happy to rattle a few brainboxes for you.”

He then gives Vale a proper salute. A quick turn on his heel and the trio from the outpost turns and moves deeper into the stench of the Hive, leaving the Notary to his command.
