Jall would discover that it was Phantom's house. The front door was completely smashed off the hinges. Several open trap doors along the walls held crossbows that all appear to have been fired. The Door leading from the entry hall was also smashed completely off the hinges. There was no sign of anyone. There was, however, a very large pool of dried blood on both the entry hall and the living room floors.

*before entering (sneaking in) she examines the ground for any tracks , although given the nature of the ground there is unlikely, but perhaps blood has been stepped upon leaving marks. she scans the rooms and fired bolts of the crossbows for any leftover element that could be an evidence, and perhaps be analyzed. she collect a sample from the blood pool(s). looks if the house had been searched over for whatever or is yet in order, barring the smashed doors, blood and crossbows*
*when done inside she goes back out and asks the neighbours if they caught anything of what happened*

Jall would find several different foot prints, as well as some drag marks, in the blood. Aside from the smashed in doors blood and crossbows, it doesn't appear that anything's missing or out of place. The crossbows appear to be traps, all aimed at the front door and already all fired.
Most of the neighbors wouldn't say anything, some making excuses to leave and others seeming a bit scared and outright refusing to say anything. One or two, however would say that a few dozen human woman cast some sort of freezing magic on the door, broke it down and charged inside. There was a lot of screaming and loud noises. A short while later, two women and a man were seen leaving the house, escorting a third woman who was in shackles. As they were turning the corner to the barracks, the shackled woman was struck in the head by a crossbow bolt, though the witnesses couldn't tell from where. Then the other three spoke with one of the Hardheads a bit, and then went into the barracks.

a -few dozen- what?...
jall asks the neighbours could describe the persons seen.
the shackled woman thus died from the bolt? if yes, what was done with her corpse?

Jall would be told they were human women, all wearing chainmail, with dark hair all pulled back into ponytails. The shackled woman was killed instantly by the bolt. The Harmonium officer near the entrance to the Barracks took the corpse. They were also seen carrying several similarly dressed corpses out of the house.

((It might be best if EM Magic Man takes over from this point, since I'm not really qualified to answer.

Late one cycle, a woman returns to the premises and slowly starts reorganising it to a livable standard once more. The shards of broken wood are collected and stored away, the blood scrubbed from the floorboard after hours of vigorous work with a soon-stained cloth. On the off chance that the remaining bodies were not collected by the Harmonium, they are stripped of their belongings and removed. From top to bottom the place is swept and dusted, fragranced with fresh potpourri.
Despite the fact that the building remains without two of it's doors and currently appears unlived in, it is now in a cleanly state once more.
