Zharixious of the godsmen volunteered their talents in the design/execution of the port facility. Their areas of expertise were biological integration and environmental engineering.

Accidents being almost inevitable, especially with some that may overwork themselves (or be overwork), An'aroluth made it known she would try to be on site when needed to treat workers in case of emergency, and failing the need for emergency, just give a kind reminder that her infirmaries were always open.

At some point, Caex slips in a letter stating interest in offering help to ensure Hivers are treated fair 'n square on the employment side of things. Or whatever else is important. He seems entirely uncertain about details, and infact the letter itself is so wishy-washy that it's actually written twice. Once in Common, and a second time In Draconic with a note saying indicating that if the Common wasn't up to par, please read this part instead. The Common is perfectly fine.

After a great deal of discussion in back rooms, the final committee roster was announced:
Fritz, of the Bleak Cabal
Corven, of the Doomguard
Kaltia, of the Fraternity
Reina, of the Harmonium
Null, of the Dustmen
Zharixious, of the Godsmen
Cornello, of the Fated
Each of these individuals was appointed by their faction to be that faction's representative in the committee.
And it was their appointed task to sort out all the details of how the docks were to be built. The original proposal had suggested that the financial matters would be overseen by the Fated, the construction company by the whole committee, and the security provided by the Harmonium. But there had been quite a few objections brought during the passage of the bill, so only one thing was certain: a dock was being built, and the rest was up to the committee to iron out.
((OOC note: I'm setting up a discord server for the committee deliberations. Stand by for invites!))

The receptionist at the temporary commission office in the Hall of Speakers bobbed her head as Sharon made her proposal.Red the Rogue wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 7:14 pm Once hearing that the vote concerning the Skybridge proposal passed, Sharon Raynsford offered to help out with the commission.
"You're going to need people that can take advantage of the lanes. That means business partners, big ones that will be shipping and ordering a lot of cargo or a lot of smaller ones. It may be worth checking out Tradegate at the very least."
"Very good, very good. Yes, do you have some names? Anyone who wants to sign up as a private investor? The more investors the better! The docks themselves are a year off, of course, but its never too early to plan!"
Adorabella is likewise given an enthusiastic greeting by the receptionist, and asked to fill out a form with her address, and the amount her guild is interested in investing. She is also asked to provide proof of the registered status of her guild.
"We have to keep things regular, you understand!" explained the cheerful lady, "We are not collecting real jink until a few last details are ironed out, but we will be in touch."
An'aroluth is, like the others, asked to fill out a form with her address and the best way to reach her, and assured that her help will be appreciated once work begins.silinrul357 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 5:51 pm Accidents being almost inevitable, especially with some that may overwork themselves (or be overwork), An'aroluth made it known she would try to be on site when needed to treat workers in case of emergency, and failing the need for emergency, just give a kind reminder that her infirmaries were always open.
Caex should imagine that the response to his note was equally uncertain at the temporary commission offices. The eventual result was the filing away of Caex's note until such a time as construction started.A Kobold wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 7:27 pm At some point, Caex slips in a letter stating interest in offering help to ensure Hivers are treated fair 'n square on the employment side of things.
