Foul Spirit Inn

"Aye righ' ava if ye be ready. We be trottin' doon tae him ye see. Wouldnae be wantin' em fowks 'ere trust me, shredding lassies and aw tha' aboot. Ye'll be oot in yer righ' element."

Beckoning her to follow as he turned around.

The streets outside the hall of records.

Asaris attuned hearing served him well in this environment. There was a gathering. Behind the pair of corners behind him he just had passed. Crossbows being cocked and blades beeing drawn. Faintly heard but unmistaken those familiar sounds.

He had spotted an emblem on some of the suspicious figures. A black talon diging into a cracking bloodred skull with a crest on a barbed chain.

The Arcanaloth simply nods curtly the creature seems unmoved either to fear or pity by the thought of people being shredded.

((Much to late I am afraid. But I can make Friday, at that time or earlier.

He tries to identify the symbol, casting subtle glances at his pursuers. Then he spreads his wings to try and fly over the nearby building, landing on the other side- testing their reaction and abilities.

The half Yugoloth does not try to hide himself yet, he just lands and tries to make his way towards the Bazaar, strolling along the streets casually, not giving away the fact that he might be aware of the people following him yet.

Asaris sits on the floor in front of the fireplace, carefully covering the head of his hatchet with wet, cold mud- but for the remainst of the handle.

Kindling is added next and he then lights the fire, watching it consume the wood stuck inside the axehead. Drawing his knife he works on the sturdy branch he got from Brux earlier this day, right after he finished his work.

His body is aching from the wounds he has suffered and his right hand is throbbing with pain, reminding him of what has happened. He welcomes the pain, keeping his grip on the knife, cutting the wood away carefully, trying to work with the grain and not against it.

The old handle did well- impaled a vampire's heart, the axehead itself took off the creatures head... hammers falling again and again while the enchanted iron cut through the creatures sinews, flesh and vertebrae.

Leaning forward he takes the axehead from the fire- it must not get too hot after all or it would use its unique properties, hardness and perhaps even the enchantment. He pushes the remains of the handle out with the tip of his knife then puts the axehead aside while he finishes the new one.

With a sigh he fits the new handle in and lifting the weapon he examines the weapon once again before slipping it into his belt.

There is more to do- he has to check the house, search it, make ensure it is safe and secure. He winces as he gets up and he limps over to the stairs to return to his duties.

The rivaling mercenary group was utterly destroyed and the survivors incoporated into the Bloodied Talon. The building overtaken by the stronger group.

He finds a ledger containing several names with small notes. Both in Sigil and without. As far a s the Crawling City and Baator. Perhaps it had not Always been the derelict Company it was now fighting fro survival at the bottom of mercenary corps. Weaponry was scarce and so were any funds they company might had stored away here.

The securety was as absent as the morale in those they had just fought. They would have to create their own wards in the relatively large building.

Propping her staff under her arm and using it like a crutch the Arcanaloth limps over to the desk and slumps down in the chair there. The battle had not been an easy one. The list of names and clients she secured from the companies previous owners she opens. It was time to drum up some business.

Asaris will place some simple traps on certain spots- mostly to cover the doors and windows to store rooms and the personal rooms of Rainarex and himself. The traps are not there to harm or stop- but mostly to alarm the fiends of foreign presence.

Of course he informs the Yugoloth about their presence and he carefully choose them in a way that they might harm attackers but not the fiends themselves.

After he has finished with his work he joins his sister at the table.

"What do we have?"

((Minor Spike, sonic and gas traps are used))
