A formal letter reaches the offices of the Fraternity, bearing the Fated seal and signed by namer Rhistel Aidan.
The letter reads as follow:
wrote:To: Fraternity of Order - City Planning and Development or other appropriate bureau
On the matter of the legal ownership of the Weary spirit Infirmary

- considering the penal charges against Ridnir Tetch, the legal owner of the activity known as "The Weary Spirit Infirmary", and their presumable failure in meeting the requirements for abovementioned legal ownership;

- considering the lack of legal documentation confirming the acquiring of abovementioned activity by any other Faction or private party following Tetch's removal;

- considering the extended economical investment of the Fated faction in abovementioned activity previous Tetch's removal (see attached documents), and Tetch's obvious failure in meeting the agreements (see attached documents);

- considering the lack of legal documentation stating the cessation of said agreements following Tetch's removal

and

- considering the Fated nonimplication with Tetch's mismanagement of abovementioned activity,

I hereby send formal request of acquisition of the activity known as  "The Weary Spirit Infirmary" and the building hosting it on behalf of the Fated, as a compensation for the unmet agreements and economical loss undergone by our faction.

Should any of the informations in my possession and here stated by me result faulty in any way, don't hesitate contacting me with proper documentation.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Rhistel Aidan
Namer of the Fated

The attached papers are the financial records attesting the Fated contribution to the Infirmary over the years, and the documents referring to the agreements with Ridnir Tetch concerning the acquiring of any medical discovery in exchange of funding.

Should your Faction believe they have a genuine grievance then the appropriate course of action would be to bring legal proceedings against the current proprietors of the establishment you mention. The forms for doing so can be obtained from The City Court. As a result of the evidence heard The Court may decide to award your Faction compensation and this may include the ownership of said institution. However this would all have to be the result of a trial, as should the Infirmary's current proprietors wish to contest your claims they have a legal right to do so. I hope this answers any questions you have.

Judge Caterina receives a direct reply to her letter shortly after:
wrote:Administrator,
your explanation of the course of actions to be taken regarding this matter is very appreciated.

We have no other documents at the Records inherent the legal ownership of the Infirmary except the ones referring to Ridnir Tetch as sole proprietor, nor we have copies of court decisions about any change of ownership in the past years.
Before taking further actions I'd like to ask you to please confirm this for me or kindly send additional documentation should there have been any legal change we are not aware of.

Thank you in advance for your time.

the letter is signed and sealed again, as the first one.

Caterina would check the Fraternity's archives as to who is registered as the owner of the Weary Spirit Infirmary. She would also check if it was registered as a charity and if that effected its tax status.
((Might need a dm on this one please as I know a lot of rp has gone on there.

On checking the archives, Caterina finds:
1) The original deed to the building, held by Ridnir Tetch
2) The legal proceedings against Ridnir Tetch, which forced him to close down the Weary Spirit infirmary, and loose control of the building
3) A more recent deed, in the name of one Sister Abigail
4) Registration of the Weary Spirit Infirmary as a charity, to be run by a committee of volunteers should Sister Abigail not be reachable.

From the dates on the documents, it seems to have been several years since Ridnir was actively experimenting or researching anything in the Weary Spirit.

Sister Abigail had no registered agreements with the Fated.

Charities in Sigil are not considered tax exempt, but they do owe considerably fewer taxes, especially as the Weary Spirit does not really make a profit.

Based upon what she has found Caterina would send a reply to The Hall of Records.

As a result of a legal decision Ridnir Tetch is no longer the legal owner of The Weary Spirit.  As such although every legal avenue is at your disposal to pursue whatever debt Tetch owes your Faction the Infirmary can no longer be considered collateral in any such agreement.  The establishment's current owner is listed is one Sister Abigal who has no current contract with The Fated that is recognized by The Fraternity.  Should you wish to collect any back taxes owed by the Infirmary its charitable status should be born in mind.  For your Faction's records and to avoid further confusion I have attached a copy of the deed transferring the Infirmary to Sister Abigal's ownership.

Headquarters: The Weary Spirit Infirmary
Founder/Leader: Nero Urbane

General Info: The Weary Spirit Infirmary is the surviving establishment of one Abigail Winters. Motivated by her unwavering faith in Ilmater and her vows of poverty, Abigail made it her personal crusade to combat the hunger and sickness that pervaded the Hive. She succeeded by way of labors and contributions of those righteous parties she rallied beneath her banner to carve out a safe haven at the heart of the great slum. Welcoming one and all, Abigail provided simple foods, warm shelter, and medical care for anyone in need.

For years Abigail was able to maintain the Weary Spirit Clinic even against the ravages and dark element of the Hive, predicated upon a simple code. The Infirmary would welcome anyone, regardless of heritage or moral fiber. The supplies therein would be plain and bland, as to attract as little attention as necessary. And absolutely no personal valuables were to be kept on site. Carefully and effectively administered, the Infirmary flourished, attracting all manner of caregivers, charitable adventurers, and generous contributors to further assist in AbigailÂ’s quest.

AbigailÂ’s faith service to the Maimed God eventually called her away, but over the years since her departure the Weary Spirit has lived on. Passing from one inheritor to the next, AbigailÂ’s legacy remained a permanent fixture in the Hive until gruesome events reduced the Weary Spirit from a beacon of hope into a solemn reminder of the districtÂ’s unforgiving nature. The massacre saw virtually every man, woman, and child within the Infirmary murdered.

At present the Infirmary is occupied by one Nero Urbane, and he at least claims it was he who Abigail herself entrusted with her cause. Together with his ward, Krystelle, they restored the Infirmy to its previous state. Repairs made, blood scrubbed away. All foodstuffs, medical supplies, and blankets restocked. All that remains is to make it the safe haven that it was during AbigailÂ’s time, and remind all Hivers that theyÂ’re not alone.

Group Goals: The Weary SpiritÂ’s purpose is to provide for those who canÂ’t provide for themselves. Those who support AbigailÂ’s cause are crusaders for the poor and helpless, and understand that even in the Hive there are innocents to protect. Through diligence, a healthy dose of stubbornness, and soem good old fashioned altruism, the Hive can be made a better place.

Group RP Style: ItÂ’s reasonable to assume that RP supporting the Weary Spirit will be mostly a blend of forum posts and conversational/politcal IG RP. PvP, and other violent confrontations will likely be rare - unless blood thirsty EMs happen to get involved, of course.

Suggested Alignments: The Weary Spirit is naturally suited for good alignments, though some IC motivations could certainly justify neutral or even evil alignments from getting involved.

RP Hooks
-Direct involvement with the daily operations of the Infirmary
-Indirect involvement
-Supply contribution
-Antagonist actions
-Sigis reporting
-Other

Guild Ranks: Though Nero and Krystelle currently reside at the Weary Spirit, it lacks any manner of official hierarchy at present

Krystelle Marrinsen

Krystelle has taken up a rather long-term presence in the upstairs bunkroom of late. Remaining largely reclusive, she leaves mainly to roam the rest of the infirmary in search of anything that still needs upkeep, cleaning or organization. Should a patient arrive, Krystelle uses her considerable training in anatomy, wound analysis, poison recognition and first aid to perform triage, ensuring that said patients remain alive, fed and rested until Nero has a chance to see to them for a more magickal cure.

These rote tasks provide the lavender lady with a comforting sense of structure and routine, something sorely needed given recent discoveries and events, allowing her mind to focus on the more important questions raised recently, as it pertains to her rehabilitation.

Over the next week, florets of cauliflower are found stuffed in all manner of nooks and cranny's within the infirmary, kitchen and living quarters. Bookshelves, pots, bathtubs, even the caretaker's beds and shoes had all become treasure troves to hidden brassicaceae-spawn in the most unique of pranks. Thankfully, a large basket of the vegetable is also donated so that any of the antics are compensated for and not the result of not wasted foodstuffs.
