The expedition reached the Valley of Crypt Things after a tedious descent. Once there they stumbled into the crypt their scrying attempt had revealed. It was far from deserted and only by partaking in the struggle between several rivaling would be Skull Lords could they advance towards their destination. Even for powerful individuals as they the challanges was only barely overcomed and with spells drained much of their strenght taken by the merciless cold of the crypt they faced the Guardian of the long forgotten gateway. Perhaps even Orcus had forgotten about it in his reclaimation of his plane. The Dracolich fell after a long battle and nothing could hinder them from entering The City of Moil. But before they could andvacne to explore it any further they had to take a proper rest or they would surely perish.

Alain Cobbersworth and the rest of the captives did safely reach the Foundry and would tell the tale of their rescuers to the waiting godsmen. Hope faltered with the limitation of the anti-detection spell.

Ulcearain was now the dominant lord of the crypt albeit he had lost the most part of his own forces along with his rivals.

Yet the heros had finally reached the ancient Graveyard City. But how could they found something they didn't know by either shape or word? It would be a long search they realised as they looked over the endless sea of tombs and ruins they had just entered.
