Dispite all the runes he has searched for and found, despite his massive library of stones he is still only half way to finding those that he seeks for his first spell.
Ignis, Stratum, Aqua & Preparare still elude Nagu'Yogtu.
He understand now that the runes are primarily Draconic but of ancient variations and dialects compared to the common draconic dialect now spoken. As he unlocks secrets of his draconic taints and expands not only his body but also his mind he spends a great deal of time looking over tomes and texts in draconic and learning the language.
[Red Dragon Disciple class gave him an extra 2 points in intelligence yesterday. If possible could Nagu'Yogtu aquire Draconic as a language?]
In addition to this he spends as much of his time in the planes and especially the outlands, delving into sites that appear to hold draconic remains.
He studies a tome on the Khaasta race in detail and hopes some day he can deal with them on a conversational level rather than have to slaughter entire tribes to be able to study what he needs.

Rune Magic and Draconic Lore Notes:
Spoke to two dragons in the Bazaar today.
One was a magnificent specimen, a Blue Dragon of the title Daudhir. He states that he is soon to become the Suzerain of the city. It's a title meaning leader but i am not sure what in the city he shall be the leader of. In any case I shall retain good relations and courtesy with Daudhir for he informs he he does have a knoledge of some older draconic forms. This could come in useful at some point though his lore will have a price I understand.
It is interesting that Mir has a strong disliking for Daudhir and tries to offend him in Draconic. He seems to think so little of the tiefling as to be able to completely ignore her presence. This relationship bothers me as Mir is useful to me as is Daudhir. I cannot be dragged into a position where i must take any side in their relationship.
The second dragon was a smaller Copper Dragon who I heard named Ve'gar'ius.
Ve'gar'ius informed me of some useful information. The Asgardian's use Rune Magic still to this day. Odin their chief deity is the most practiced user of this magic. Ve'gar'ius has been to Asgard after what was apparently a long journey through either the Beastlands or Celestia. I fidn it strange that a Dragon has such a bad memory. There may be something defective about this dragon or perhaps it did not want to be clear with me on purpose in which case I admire it's cunning. Apparently the Sunshine sisters of Sigil, Purity Sunshine being one are worshippers of Freya one of the Asgardian Deities and will know the way to Ygrasil the World Tree, through which ever plane it was they had journeyed.
I should seek out this Purity and attempt to find a way to Asgard as soon as I can. I wish to gather as much lore on Asgard as I can on practiced Rune Magic.
Perhaps when I have some knoledge of worth I may be able to get Marroweater that awfully named rag wearing merchant in the Bazaar to give me some recognition and share some of his knoledge with me.

After several cycles and much trading of runes and books and jink Nagu'Yogtu finds himself in the bazaar one quiet Sigil afternoon realising he needed only Preparare to complete his collection of runes for the magical inscription that marrow eater bears upon his person, who walks up but none other than Hildmor d'Kridis himself and just hands Nagu'Yogtu the last rune.
The Oni holds the little stone up to the sky and watches the other side of Sigil pass by in the distance.
He levitates off into the sky and floats off across Sigil.
Sometime later the machine is fully loaded with the runes and the Oni sets the wheels turning and locking the runes in place to spell the sequence.

They bring the energy images of the runes from the stones all together on an inverted mirror and through one large lense a downward line of runes projected in different coloured essence energies projects onto the Oni's chest.
He reaches down and grips a large lever on the floor and pushes down a foot plate unlocking the lever. Nagu'Yogtu is severely burned by the combined energies of the runes, his skin is blackened and torn.
It could be his imagination, but he hears laughter in his mind in his semi-concious state.

The Oni looked down upon his searing inscription of pain as the runic tattoo glowed with an inner fire upon his flesh. It was an artistic addition amongst the bloodletting ritual scars covering him all over.
Interestingly fire was the one thing that could burn right through the troll like regenerating flesh of an Oni but Ironically it was the one element he had become completely immune to as a result of uncovering his red draconic blood lineage. He frowned thinking that Marroweater had set this little trick up on him but at the same time found it amusing how he was by design immune to fire and a practicioner of pain and it's dicipline by the fiends of the nine hells, specifically the Erinyes who had performed the bloodletting rites for Esmerelda the vampyre in which he was flayed into pieces and trained to feel the glory and agonal ecstasy of such pain, a path that saw him eventually join the Black Legion to develop such learnings even more.
This tattoo was symbolically perfect for Nagu'Yogtu, it was his first and clumsy spelling. It was also a lesson. Copying was a mistake, he should seek to learn the meanings of every single rune in his library from now on.
