He starts to affix them to the massive metal clockwork structure he previously created using iron and other conductor metals.

The final result is an ornate, stone, clock like, face.

The outer circle contains many holes all the way around to hold all manner of rune stones. The inner plates and sections hold many holes also and appear to rotate or slide, some passing over each other and some able to be pulled around on hinges or slid in and out to produce crossword like combinations of runes.

Around the back of the device are a great many cogs, levers, cranks and also glass containers, tubing, wires, crystals and gemstones. Some of the glass containers are marked with elemental symbols.

The ogre mage frequently enlarges himself just to be able to lift and manipulate the device which without his size and strength would likely be very complicated or difficult for any other to work with.
Nagu'yogtu begins to place his collected runes into the storage wheel of the device.

Nagu'yogtu sneaks into the Bazaar one evening having turned invisible.

He sits down cross legged across the way from Marroweater and scribbles down some of the lines of runes and sequences the other ogre mage has marked upon himself.

He takes down as many sequences and runes as he can before heading off.

[DMs, what I am after here are some rune sequences to start working on and investigating, ones I know another ogre mage already makes use of and will potentially do something.

Also this is an exercise to note runes that Nagu'yogtu does not yet possess.]

After some time studying and making notes, he figures out a rather long sequence.

Ignis Tartarus Stratum Aqua Terra Regulus Arsenicum Preparare

Nagu'yogtu spins the outer wheel and as Regulus comes to the top he pulls a lever locking the disk. He winds a crank and a long curved track with 8 rune slots in dislodges from one of the central wheels and rotates from the centre to point up at Regulus.

Nagu'yogtu holds a handle and slides the plate along a track until the 6th slot is over the Regulus rune.

He puts his finger through the hole and pushes Regulus.

The rune goes in making a click and then with a hissing noise and a whirr it pops up and into the new slot above the old one.

Nagu'yogtu slides the track back inwards towards the centre of the machine where the track rotates and clicks back into the inner wheel. The rune gently hums waiting for the others to join it.

*click* Nagu'yogtu pushes an Arsenicum rune into the outer wheel along with many others.

He flicks through some paper work and then pulls a few levers on the machine.

The end result, Arsenicum takes it's place in the 7th slot in the same track as Regulus.

Nagu'yogtu attempts to speed his research by placing an advert in the Sigis Newspaper.

The blue giant glides across the outlands skyline looking for sites of draconic lore or worship. So far despite the large number of runes he has aquired in his travels he has yet to find a single combination.

Perhaps his machine is not up to the task, perhaps he is just unlucky.

The Oni returns to his machine after some barter with a Half-Blood Black Dragon Kin and adds Tartarus to the machine. He holds Terra Foliata in his hand also and wonders if this rune will work in the place of Terra. He buts it in a secondary column of reserve runes so that he can try it if a simple Terra is not found before he completes his search for the rest.

Nagu'Yogtu recieves a document from Mir Fnar about runes she has recorded in her travels. She does not possess the runes any longer but has drawn and recorded the names of those runes.

"Stratum, Aqua & Preparare are all I require now." Mutters Nagu'Yogtu As he pops his 57th Rune into the outer wheel of the machine and layed down an ancient tome titled "Rune Magic" Upon the work bench.

He pulls levers and hits Runes into reading arch completing the assembly of Marroweater's sequence.
