Starting at the foundry and its surroundings, thus resorting to the hall of informations and lastly to the hall of records if needs be, Jall would make inquiries and ask to see maps and records of the lower ward, about allocated and unallocated lots in the ward , what their construction purpose is (shop,storage, lab, workshop , housing,etc) and if their activities, where present, are in good health or on the verge of failure, taking note of them , paying eventual garnishes if needed for the more indepth infos.

((anyone whom may care feel free to reply as they see fit , or i'll assume jall generically succeeds in her research for rp's sake to continue - or that she just doesnt find useful infos))

There are a few officially abandoned warehouses in the ward, as well as miscellaneous buildings for sale. Naturally the owners are interested in knowing why Jall in inquiring.

she simply answers ''possibly interested in renting or purchasing, but will have to consider some more before finalizing the decision''.
meanwhile she'll look for kala.

after some more days jall proceeds doing an inside research around the whole foundry (where allowed), with the due help of technicians and overseers willing to help her.
it'll likely take her several days to complete it, or perhaps weeks, by an optimistic view, at least. she perhaps will be met with skeptycal responses, having joined only since some months, or maybe because her fellows may think the foundry is fine as it is and needs no fixing. regardless, she proceeds as intended
she would check:
if and which infrastructures need fixing;
what supplies are the more, less or newly needed;
what activities could use some strenghtening, either because they aint given the proper attention, or because they fail to satisfy the current workload or demand;
what products to be crafted in greater quantities and new ones to be produced;
if and what kind of new machineries and new rooms would be needed, what kind of fixing should the old ones need;
if the spaces for such within the boundaries of the foundry's grounds are available or if outside buildings would have to be rented or acquired;
eventual improvements to the air recycle, cooling, light, communication, carriage and waste disposal system;
betterments to guardposts, dormitories, kitchens, libraries...;
perhaps an healthy check to the eventual sewers or catacombs lying beneath the foundry, in the underground...;
and so forth...
all this to optimize and improve the functioning and production of the foundry and its livability and security. she'd note everything down and then calculate the possible costs in personnel and resources.

she wouldnt of course bother those labs that are private use of single godsmen for their more personal researches and works, unless they wish to.

She isnt much of a carpenter (altho' she's ready to learn whatever possible), but can help with funds and organization
Between her periods of absence mixed with routinary business, jall doesnt desist yet in listing whatever improvements could be made to the godsmen headquarters ((as in the quote)), unless she's being confuted by evidences or common opinions that all this isnt needed.

If none of this is necessary, she'd focus to other things solely.

Reasons for these adjustements, asides improvement itself, are the previous crysis and tensions with invaders or factions. she of course expects things to be safe and well managed enough already, but even not, if she and kala once caught an anarch infiltrate about to sabotage ongoing projects (old story tho' ((and sort of dead line for now)) ). Perhaps a review of godsmen rooster records might be in order, tho' she'd asks a factor's opinion for that.

Kala had red the note and sent a paper to Jall.

I wouldn't do anything differently. Take a few namers you trust with you and carry on with these investigations. Improvements are welcome but I'd like if you could expand this to the whole ward, you have good contacts with the Athars use this to make sure our alliance is put to good use.
