Dark, thick smoke is gathering over the Gatehouse, adding another vile acidic smell to the fumes in the Hive.
Some say that the rain causes odd, frightening visions in those who are exposed to it for too long- but this might just be the barmy babbling.
The Hardheads have closed the place down, only letting Bleakers inside now- and the red armoured soldiers keep a respectful distance to the place.
Formally the control of the gatehouse is once again n the Bleakers' hands but there are still Mercykillers inside somewhere- their fate unknown.
The wing for the Criminal insane is burning for two days, the fire multicoloured, behaving oddly, sometimes freezing in time, sometimes burning even backwards- but when the flames die the corrupted walls and roofs start to heal somehow, mending itself slowly and now with the uncorrupted material gone the true degree of corruption can be seen- the stonewalls pulsating with unatiral live, growing and moving, eyes and mouths and even limbs budding, then withering away again.
Whatever hides inside there is not yet finished- the Hardheads on guard duty reporting disturbing visions.
The Bleakers seem to have an easier time dealing with this phenomenon, some working hard to prevent the influence of the Far Realms from spreading....
