In the gatehouse alms kitchen a strange scene can be seen these days.

An umberhulk girl who goes by the name jade has been bringing in fresh food and has begun helping in the kitchen ... so far the poor people are happy with the increased food quality and seem entertained the Flaming rows shes been having with Longhorn about the state of the kitchen and his deplorable cooking skills. She does not seem to be wearing a bleaker badge and allways greets the people coming in to eat with a happy bubbly tone though she does get a few nerveous looks from time to time. Also seems to have been hiring a few of the Poor people at a temporary basis to help clean up the mess of a kitchen ... again having a few yelling matches with Longhorn. Apparently she is a surprisingly good cook.

Kazuko will slowly watch the added nonsense with a smile. What Jade could notice though is that the ambiance in the Gatehouse was very dull and mournful and even her cheerful attempts didn't helped much. Even worse, the dullness slowly started to contaminate her as well.

A least they weren't complaining about the food anymore.

Old Khasef just shambles through, oblivious as can be.

Namer Allegruth walks into the kitchen, in a mood of ecstasy

- GREETINGS, LONGHORN!

Longhorn and an umberhulk female Allegruth has never seen seem to be arguing
- Oy, Longhorn...who's the barmy bug?...

Grabs some food and throws it up in the air, an utterly serene smile on his face. Tries (and fails miserably) to catch the food in his mouth, bumping into other bashers in the process.

- Well, good day then, Longhorn!

Looks at a crying orphan. Grabs a piece of soft fruit. Throws the fruit at the orphan.
- Cheer up, young blood!

Does a shambling dance all the way to the door
