-Oh I heard the infernal braying. *he trotted forward rather than staying and awaiting them. Expecting a hail of arrows as their first given greeting*

Apart from the existing long duration wards he had in place from Baator, Dorian casts no new spells nor makes any move that could be interpreted as threatening.

They see armed men rush to the walls and they hear a clattering sound of a draw bridge being lowered. For now it is reasonable to assume the inhabitants of the city have not seen the nature of those who aproach or seen their undead steeds for what they are but the thunder if hooves and the advancing sound of horns suggest someome is coming to take a closer look.

Dorian says: "Hold. Make no threatening move. Yet stand ready to defend yourself should the need arise."
Dorian calls to mind a summon creature spell, just in case some additional defense is needed. He idly wonders what manner of creature will come to his aid in this realm.
((Summon Creature 7 -- IIRC what he normally has memorized))

"Excellent point! We cannot appear weak. You must be our slave girl. Act demure. Only speak if directly addressed."

-It all depends on whom they belong to. We have no use for zealous Knights. If they give the impression to belong to such a Group I'd say we take the initative and dispose of them. Or perhaps.. *he looked in the direction of the approaching riders* They have an weakness that can be explioted. If they indeed fight the demons they will be in the direst of need when it comes weaponry. Cold Iron in particular. Hope is such a cruel comfort for the desperate. It can make you visulize water in a desert when dying of thirst. Makes you grasp for what seem imossible. Perhaps we just happen to be extra planar profit seekers dealing in arms? They might as well just be the pawns of the Tanar'ri though. We'll see soon enough.

And see they do. The thundering hooves grow louder and a group of horsemen which at a glance number somewhere between ten and twenty ride at them. Tjere is a secind blast of the horn shirt and sharp this time and the riders respond with perfectly organized percision surronding the three in a ring of steel. There is no way three riders would ever draw such attention normally. The size of the response compared to the size of the apparent threat the group pose suggest that despite their organization and discipline and the calm exterior they are edgy.
All the while the dark call the thing that coaxed the three this way to begin with grows louder. It wants them to know it is behind the walls. They are so close.
The pennant the knights fly bares the symbol of Heironeus and next to each knights personal coat of arms upon his shield is the icon of a silver chalice. One of the knights pulls up the visor upon his helm.
"State your business travllers. What manor of mortal man or woman walks the lands when the Tanar'ri march this way?"
//By "calling the spell to mind" am I to understand Dorian has cast it or is he just readying an action?

*ayase whispers to her companions, the donkey behind their skeletal horses, face hidden behind the cloth mask* ''hieronites. and apparently of the fiendslaying ''order of the chalice''...''
