The demoness shrugs at his question and she talks to both of them as she speaks. "Everybody has his own agena in this faction, everybody has her own ideas about who to serve Entropy best. It is a bit like home and I am surprised that this... faction has not ripped itself apart yet. Or given in to the forces if entropy as they call it here."

With a tail she collects some of her tools to put them back into her pockets. "Have you learned what you were looking for, Doomlord Astheroth? The spell felt odd for me... I think it was not just piercing space but also time. Whatever you have seen or felt might have not yet happened.. or might be history already."

"And that agenda of scattered egos lessen us." His hanging head was elevated ye not fully risen towards Azor. "Dullifies the blade meant to cut. Thus it will not remain. That which makes a edge sharp is the thinest point gradually scaling down from the broad base. The hand must know no hesitation. The desire of destruction reside in all creatures, hereat we mearly gather those who are aware. Even would the order reduce itself and not the verse with us another would become the beacon of that inherited desire."

He paused briefly considering. Letting his head sink down again. "Or it could be situated in a place where time doesn't bend in any linear fashion like here. Perhaps shielded from the effects of time which limits the use of these constructs. Time.. we find this source. Are you coming with us?"

"A common desire can be enough sometimes- but sometimes it is far too weak to overcome the pull of self importance. But what do I care? It will lead to chaos and suffering and acts of cruelty so I am content and the Abyss will have is share of souls."

With a swift gesture she pulls a thin blanked woven of metal wires over the leg she studied- a silent answer to his question.

"I come with you. This place, these mortals, the factions and their bloated self importance already bore me. Perhaps your quest can provide the distractions I desire.

To start looking for a place like this.... I suggest we check some of the many demiplanes found in the Astral, Etheral and Shadows first. Any clues where we can start?"

A muffled chuckle was heard underneath his mask. The sensitive ear would hear the metal chiming very faintly. "You cannot have suffering without loss nor chaos without something rendered asunder. While it writhe with life the rapid decay is testimony to which force truely govern through all the layers even though some have managed to claim those portions momentarily. But why care for the weal of the abyss when your own is so much closer to heart. Isn't it time you change into something more fitting to your ambition? Have you not been encased in this shape a longer than you deserve? If I don't manage to shatter the shell and see you creep into your next I'll at least break your bore."

Putting his palm to the rester he pushed himself up attempting to put his hand on her opposite hip and pull her close to him as he rose up.

"We'll begin with the floating corpses. I have a vague idea of where we might stand a good chance of finding something interesting." Leading her onward towards the exit if she would allow it. He spoke in a much somber tone to Azor.

"I would like those renegades the tiefer spoke of brought here. If they haven't dissolved as the other alredy. But this is more important for now."

He would lead on into the astral plane and once there recreating the mental image he and envisioned just priorly attempting to open a gate directly to the spot. Even though time effected this Place diffrently it was still subject to after, before and now. What they sough might just not had arrived yet or could have been removed as the Litu had forewarened them about.

The demoness lets him lead her away, one of her tails wrapped loosely around his thigh. She does not answer him with words but her smile shows him he did not miss his mark, this creature being not without ambitions and probably playing a game of her own.

If Azor decides to investigate he would learn the whereabouts of the survivors easily as the merchant and sensate prepare an expedition at the festhall while the Bleaker seeks only the solitude of his cell.

The Gate Mauric opens leads to a pocket, a small demi plane that seems oddly... untouched. As if it is a project abandoned, something grown but never really used.

There are the crystals he saw in his vision, but they are raw and unrefined, no metal, no wood reinforcing them yet, their peaks 1000 feet above the ground, shrouded in mists.

Surrounding them is a pleasant landscape, able to support himanoid life with a small lake, a forest and meadows- a small settlement nestled against the crystal formation is the only sign of intelligent life.

The doomguards estimate the plane to have a diameter of 10 miles, the settlement is just a few houses, perhaps 20-50 souls.

He was rather talkative on the way speaking to the Lilitu. "So how come you got involved in all of this? Not to be rude but you seemed just a bit out of Place back in Sigil."

"This seem to be an early stage of the process. Perhaps the golems are far from completed yet. Still we aught to take a plunge into it to learn the secrets it may hold."

Advancing further towards the risen Crystals int he distance. What lifeforms could chose this as a habitat if not involved directly or in directly he wondered drawing nearer to the housings.

"I offered my services as I am curious what is going on. Many rumours I read, among them the prophecy of an Obyrith lord... about the fifteen who free the smiling defiler and the spawn of his victims who seek out someone who cannot be mentioned to have their revenge.

It is there that constructs unliving but alive are mentioned, their soul contained by a cage of paradoxes.... the tools of of revenge and undoing."

They approach the settlement and from a distance Mauric sees members of several races down there, living a peaceful life- or so it seems.

Azor scanned the terrain while Mauric and the demon spoke, keeping his thoughts to himself. The cold eyed athasian's gaze passed over the trees and lake (the plentiful water and foliage of the area seeming sickening to the desert worlder) as they approached the strange village, finally speaking up as they spotted the distant figures.

"What is our course to be, Doomlord?"

He listened as they drew nearer and neared the inhabitants. He knew there would be no such thing as to simply walk into the crystal monument taking what they want and leave. Knowing the athasian keen eyes would be twice as wary in places as this that teemed with hidden dangers he payed little heed of it himself.

"An ancient Obyrith awakening from it's tomb sowing chaos and defying reality? Of course I see the allurment for your kind as well as ours. Have you encountered one of their race before?"

He turned his head slightly towards Azor without looking directly at him as they walked.

"Let us approach, they seem ignorant of what ever these crystals hold. Simple custodians or forgotten altogether. We have no use for them. Perhaps the legend is true, to gaze upon an Obyrith is to become mad. If there is indeed a powerful Obyrith involved treat reality as you would a dream but remember a dream is not not merly twisting thought wraiths. The Way would serve you here I believe." (A term for Azors telekinetic abilities.)

As he spoke he kept walking towards the rised crystals. Seemingly ignoring the humanoids, perhaps as a test to whether they were fully senteinent or not.

"So you believe it to be gone from existence altogether? I have my doubts of such a creature's wiles to persish even if the flesh that bounds it has long since dissolved or perhaps rahter the flesh it bound to itself. Could it be that the Obyrith needed a new form and a new legacy and intrumented its own demise and rebirth? If we can learn which layer it orginated from we could certainly learn more. The location where they fought would hold equal interest to our enterprise."

"Those you met was they part of any organisation per any chance? What linked them together?"

As she morphed into her new shape he fell silent. He had a customised clipboard of scrolls in his stachel carefully arranged with symbols so that merely cliping it between his fingers would allow him to identify it. Simply tearing the scroll of True Sight free and pulling it out before he started to invoke the spell.

When they was approached by the group he spoke with a neutral voice.

"As are my greeting yours. I had a vison, a calling. Hence we came. A dreary force called out for release." He raised his hand pointing in the direction of the tallest crystal.
